Hollow-Ichigo from the manga Bleach by Kubo Tite.I skipped the cloak or whatever it is, to practice some anatomy skills.

Isn't the hole in a hollow supposed to represent they have no heart nor soul?, Why the heck isn't the hole where the heart should be? Other than that it's a nice picture and i hope I am not being a dick i tend to be sometimes.

It's not always placed where the heart is, look at Ichigo when he's in the shaft becoming a shinigami for the second time. There the hole appears at the top portion of his chest. I don't think i looked at any of those when i painted this one so i totally missed it. x) Also the fact that the Arrancar have their hollow holes at all kinds of positions. For example Ulquiorra. Cool. I love the classic black and white look, with the exception of the blood. He looks very realistic and I like his facial expressions. The blended shades are a nice touch too.

I see I'm not the only one who wishes Hichi could be king for a while...
I love this. His muscles are amazing and the blood is a great touch. His expression wins at freaking me out too, which is a must for a good Hichigo portrait.

You know, I was actually just now trying to figure out how I would draw Ichigo a little bit more realistically, and I think you just helped me! Of course it's not exactly Ichigo, but y'know... just awesome! I totally love the macabre atmosphere, and you couldn't have chosen a better statement coming from his mouth! *thumbs way up*
