Personality: Hasse may be easy to approach, but he will not take people seriously at all until he has seen proof of their worth. Despite his calm-looking demeanor, he can be very impulsive without realizing it. He reacts even to the littlest of things, but after realizing this, he tends to jokingly blame the other party for starting it in the first place. That being said, Hasse does have sharp senses. The smallest of sounds tend to catch his attention, whilst loud bangs and whatnot come off as normal to him.

Other than that, he is very ticklish and also has a tendency to talk really really fast.

History: Born in Edin, Hasse had always been a capital boy. Access to every up-to-date trends and news was always available around every corner considering how well-informed the people there were. His father; who was originally from Sorgund, tied the knot with the daughter of a well-off family background. The one thing the Tyrhild family has been holding strong for generations was their capability to control the manas air and light. Even though at that age, their son showed merely little or no signs of being able to freely channel either mana, he was still taught the basics of spear handling, to which he can relate to pretty well. There were often times whereby his father would bring Hasse along whenever he decided to go back to his hometown to meet up with an old friend of his. This was basically their typical schedule at hand.

However, much to their dismay—they discovered that Hasse started showing signs of photophobia.

The case wasn’t as serious as they imagined, but due to his light-coloured eyes, that could have potentially been the cause of his light sensitivity issues to become more apparent. He frequently complained having troubles keeping up with his vision whenever directly exposed to sunlight or it just results in him having bad headaches after spending the whole day outdoors. Because of this, friendly trips to Sorgund were aborted altogether and soon ended up with Hasse being cooped up indoors instead.

It was an unfamiliar feeling—to be spared so much free time. It was as if he was literally separated from the outside world. Even though he wasn’t allowed to slack off from physical training, he still felt that time was ticking away slowly—too slowly, in fact. And it’s during those silent times, where he started building paranoia to the simplest of sounds—a creak; a tap; even a scratch. But, for some reason, thunderstorms calm him down the most. After a few troublesome attempts to get as close to it as possible, he finally realized that he could manipulate the mana lightning, which was the core of air and light itself. And from that day onwards, he began to pick up his pace—turning his disadvantage to an advantage instead.

Positioning himself in the Magician Guild, Hasse strives to secure his strong points, especially in the mana field and to prove himself worthy of his parents’ expectations as well as his own by taking the front line.

Other Facts:
He seems to enjoy snapping his fingers for attention.
His hair is usually in a scruffy, unkempt condition; no matter how many times he tries to comb it, managing it is futile.
It’s not that he particularly likes long nails, he’s just used to it.
Hasse usually gets migraines after battles, but at this point, it only makes him uncomfortable instead of getting irritated.

Relationships:
Bastien Vere ; They have a friendly rivalry relationship due to their parents being close friends, but sometimes they take it to extreme levels. It had been 9 years since their last meeting.
Jia Quy Lynn ; Jia's and Hasse's mothers are sisters, which makes them cousins. They met during a family reunion in Edin quite a while back. Even though they haven't seen each other for a very long time, they still share a close bond and Jia is one of the very few people to know about Hasse being ticklish.
