Description SamangoAt the start of my recent vacation in KwaZulu Natal, we stayed in the Oyster Box Hotel in Umhlanga, near Durban, before journeying on to Thonga Beach Lodge on the north-east coast of KZN overlooking the Indian Ocean. hehe !!  I didn't first spot him!  And I have to say, I'm not too keen on monkeys myself... I don't much trust them, quite frankly...   But this is a very nice, candid shot.  And I love how they attempted to cheer you up; show you definite, personal attention, most surely.   And that, is Amazing, in my book! !! !!!

Thank you kindly, Linda. Curiosity is the key, I think. They have to be aware of everything in their environment at all times, make an assessment of it and react accordingly. They would know of humans from the camp and local village and assess us as low or no threat. I thought them stunning creatures.

Cheers

David
