Description Fonts and FanciesMy recent feature  "Seen One Church...Seen 'em All"  ==> Seen One Church...Seen 'Em All! described some of the external aspects of the architecture of medieval churches found in Norfolk and East Anglia - flint walls, towers, buttresses, tracery, porches, clerestories, and so on. I hope people realised that the title of the feature was ironic, that even though many basic aspects of church architecture may be the same, each church has its own individual style and character that the disengaged mind does not appreciate. The same general point, that each church is an individual, can be said of the internal architecture and of its fixtures and fittings. This journal illustrates some of the characteristic medieval features to be found in most churches of that era.

Beauty is in simplicity, as when some souls show purity. Great shot.

That is one of the appealing features of this church, Mayumi, its simplicity.
