This is beautiful! I love the shading and the feathers. I'm also self taught, so I don't know if I'm in a position to be giving advice, but from what I'm learning at the moment I'd say you could get away with increasing the saturation of some of the colours a little bit to make the subtle blues in the white shirt, the purples in the hair, and the red tones of the skin stand out a bit more, and maybe using a bit more darkness to add some more contrast. Overall though this is already an amazing painting, the motion captured in the hair and the background is great. I really like your style.
