Description

The first time I saw Claire Redfield was when I saved her in a diner. I yelled "Get down" I remember thinking at first that this girl won't react in time and she will get bit by that zombie. She shocked me however with her quick reactions and how fast she got out of the way in order to avoid danger. I quickly realized that this was no ordinary girl. I found out later that she had been trained by her brother to use all sorts of guns and weapons. I could tell that she knew how to handle herself better then most and that included me. I did not have the time to get a good look at her because we were so focused on survival. It wasn't until later when after we got separated that I was pinned by a zombie swarm in the RPD basement. I ran out of bullets and I did not have time to reload. I thought for sure that I was going to die when suddenly a loud shot gun blast echoed through the room. At once the zombie swarm that was coming at me was blasted back. Three more shots rang out from the gun and in no time the zombie swarm was dead. I looked up at Claire and she smiled at me. She told me to take a second while she covered me and I reloaded my gun.

Leon: Thanks Claire I would have died if it hadn't been for you.

Claire: No problem Leon I got your back.

The way she said it I could tell that she wasn't being competitive she was being a friend who was concerned for another. To this day I am not afraid to tell anyone that if it had been a competition that Claire won hands down although from what Chris told me however she says the same thing about me. While she was scanning the room I got my first real good look at her. Their was no other word for it Claire Redfield looked stunning. I knew this was wrong place and time to be thinking about that but I couldn't help myself. I clearly looked to long because she caught me staring at her. Instead of looking at me with judgement or contempt which is what I thought would happen she smiled me at me.

All these years later and I still remember the first time I noticed her. I haven't had the nerve to ask her what she thought about me looking at her but I am not entirely sure I want to. After Racoon City we never did have a chance to ask regardless. The world caught up to all us to fast. Sherry became a ward of the Government, I became an Agent and Claire went on to become one of the founders of Terra-Save. From time to time I still hear Sherry's voice asking us "So are you two boyfriend and girlfriend"? I kinda of wish I could have said yes. I just got back from China with Sherry in tow and we are both exhausted. Fortunately the housing that me and Sherry are in has us across the hall from each other so I can keep an eye on her. Not that she needs it anymore but I still get very fatherly around her. I go into my room and I have a text message from Claire. She said she just got in touch with her brother and she wanted to make sure that I was okay and she wants to meet me tomorrow. I agree to it right away. Who knows maybe now is the time to tell her how she looked that day in Racoon City.

Side Note* Claire looks incredibly hot holding a shotgun.
