This seems to me better than your previous landscape photography. I don't know if you did anything different. Somehow it makes a better impression.

Hmmm, could be. That would smooth out changes in the haze over the water.

Looking a little closer, out on the headland I see what looks like cranes for loading and unloading freight for a seaport, and maybe oil rigs. Do you know if that is what they are? There are things like that where I live. I should post pics of them...

Thanks, I did a little digging myself. This isn't a real photograph, it's a scene from a flight simulator. Looks like somewhere on the island there are cranes like I had in mind.
