You've done a great job. I find it curious that you have not drawn him with Japanese facial features. However, I love it. It goes beyond what a person usually imagines when they think in a manga character.

Very nice, cohesive colors! Love the way you did his eyes. I just noticed the blurred background, and while it's not very conspicuous, it adds a lot of realness. The texture on his skin is beautiful, but his hair has large locks of hair that are rather flat-looking mixed in with very detailed strands of hair wisping about, and it's a little strange to look at. Other than that, fantastic job!
