One thing I've learned. If I'm in a drawers block, do a Fenris. I will probably do some touch-ups to this later but I really like that it looks like the character without having to use the green puppy eyes. Also tweaked the nose a bit since I don't really like the DAII Elf design.PS5 Wacom Bamboo

It's a funny thing with Fenris he almost have no bad angles. I think all of the other characters have at least one.

This is really nice. I LOVE the colors! You've captured the broodiness quite well here. The expression on his face is perfect.

From time to time I decide to get color-bold, this worked I think. Got lazy with the hair around neck and ear, maybe I'll get back to it, but I do like that it has that 'fine fly-away' feeling to it that blond hair often has.

Generally I would agree about the DA2 Elf design but I kind of like Fenris' 'Greek statue' nose.
I love the look of introspection on his face and the cool colour palette. It is good not to rely on the eyes but I can't help thinking that a flash of green would make for an interesting colour contrast. You are getting very good at mouths.

Nah, tried that, made him look like the Witcher. Mouths I'm learning. Didn't think this was particularly good but I'll check it out again. DA2 noses (hm) I'm almost glad they killed off Duncan and Riordan before anything bad could happen to them (like Zevran and Alistair)... grump grump...

Well, let's add another half one today. I usually prefer male faces with, ahem, distinctive noses. But you can't have everything and Fenris does have a great face.

Ah, the pointless red. Actually I had wanted it to be a yellowish/orange tone but that was too strong. All the blues needed something to set them off that's all. It's still a bit monochromatic (except for the eyelid, I like that one). I try to use color as much as shapes in my images. Sometimes It makes me forget volume but then I do a B&W to remind myself.
