Right? I thought so too.

There was an area around a tree that was completely covered in leaves, and the voles apparently felt so confident they were rummaging through it like crazy. At one time I saw three of them within a few meters. It's amazing what you get to see if you stop and pay attention to things.

Oh I would guess they enjoy their run through the wonderful Autumn leaves. I can hear the rustling now
