Et il n'y a jamais eu autant de milliardaires que cette année ... certains trouvent le moyen de s'en réjouir car cela favorisera l'industrie française du luxe !
Le monde marche sur la tête, l'ensemble de l'évolution humaine n'est pas orientée vers le progrès pour tous mais vers les penchants égoïstes d'une minorité, sans considération aucune pour les autres, pas même pour leurs descendants ...

I just sit here and keep looking at the imagery..the feelings that this brings to mind...sorrow~sadness~
dreaming~longing~hope~dignity~....we are never too far away from being a person who has nothing..these days are hard and can be challenging! I also see a man who is tired and just wants to sit and think..humbling and human~

On second view: I love how the warm rich wood colours of the shop front come back in the man's stick, and in the beads he's holding in his hand... so he's praying, right?... I love the contrast between the warm light in the front part of the image, and the dark black shades in the back part... two worlds indeed, devided only by a dotted line... Dots, that, again, somehow come back in the beads in his hand...
And then, another element of contrast... : the woman in the shop window in front, only a shade, a silhouette... the woman in the back, in the shaded part: only half a face, but an open eye... she sees...

I had a 2nd view too ...
Because the man makes me think to an old dervish, lost here after another life ... The shop behind him looks a little like a part of a palace.
His looking is so far, in distance as well as in times ...
I decided to amplify the shades on the left to accentuate the border between the worlds, letting the 'half woman' have a look (not only a model look, I find, a person's look) to the other world
I didn't mind the alignment of the beads and the dotted elements, building another border ... you've got a realy sharp brain, lady !

Ho mais de rien
Mais c'est vrai que, résidant à Paris, je croise ces personnes tous les jours. L'année dernière je passais une heure presque chaque soir avec un jeune sdf immigré. C'était pas simple... Le pire c'est quand un jour, il me montre un papier en me demandant de le traduire (il parlait à peine français), c'était un avis d'expulsion du territoire... Dur.

On est tous l'immigré de quelqu'un, le sdf d'un autre pays ... Le + dur c'est de s'en rendre compte, mais avec un peu d'empathie le monde irait déjà mieux ! C'est la vertu que l'on devrait s'ingénier à enseigner, car elle est la clé.
