PS I’ve always wanted to do a series of the major arcana but 22 is such a daunting number, and one does also want to do some of the cups, swords, etc. I wonder is you’ve done more or have plans to do more?

I suppose for someone who collages as much as I do, (almost one per day) 22 is still less than a month anyway!

I have considered it, yes. I am friends with a woman out here called Amy Zerner. She has done several tarot decks in her fabric collage. Google her.

The layers and subtlety of the various textures is alluring, but the anatomical hanged man himself is a fabulous concept. The combination of Β this particular blue and the orange and red is wonderful too!

This is incredible. I've added to my Tarot faves.. specifically viewing unique versions of the "Hanged Man" and "Chariot."

Thanks! I'm glad someone got the reference. Not many people mentioned tarot, even after reading the title...

I'd love to do a whole set.

for sure. actually, i did searches for tarot hanged man and for the chariot too. It would be a big project to make a whole deck... especially as elaborately layered as this one...

Yeah, it would be a beast to complete. I've also always wanted to do one painting for each canto of Dante's Divine Comedy...

Ask? I don't follow..

When I mean ask, I mean ask myself what the painting means, the emotion behind it, the symbolism. There's a lot to ask about what's going on here.

That's good. I like exciting the eye, and it's even better if I can excite your brain.
