The winner for February is Nikita , a character by Jaya Sama! I did take some liberties on her feet, and i figure that she is some type of squirrel creature, I think.I just really liked this character's colours and general style. I am a sucker for cute things it seems...

every month i try to draw someones character that they send to me via note.
I ask them to send only once, and not be mad/angry /sad if i dont pick it as i can only do one per month with my work and school.
so i just pick whichever one i like and then do it on my spare time!

hmmmm, maybe you add too much density over her face, the shadows are too heavy.
but as for the lineart, i think the secret lies in the eyes and eyebrows.

in fact, i was talking about her face only
the hair gets pretty dark at the bottom, and the shade it renders over the face and under the cheeks are a little too strong.
it's not that it looks wrong, but making it more "tender" would help with your "doing cute things" issue
