I've wanted to draw something with Beijeye and Carpaith for a while.You know those houses, where it seems like the person who lives there's idea of cleaning their house is just to throw everything outside... yeah, I've always kind of figured that'd be pretty fitting of Carpaith's house. In general, most non-humans really don't care about keeping things looking nice, but Carpaith is pretty scatter brained and lives alone in the wasteland, so she really doesn't have any reason to care. Also she's pack-ratty and collects enough shit that she thinks is pretty or whatever, despite the fact that it clearly doesn't matter to her, it's more of a habit from her desire to feel like she still has a place that feels like home, but over time, she's just given up. She and Beijeye pretty much found each other in each of their's low points in life. Beijeye was struggling to get by living on the streets after his mom and brother died. Carpaith is all alone after having to fake her own death to avoid execution and has no contact with her children. After the night she saved Beijeye from an alley brawl, he became almost instantly clingy, but she doesn't mind him hanging around and eventually starts thinking of him sort of as her kid.

Yeah... my neighbors are the best people ever!I was super sad when they moved closer to town, but it's safer for them to be closer to the hospital at their ages now

I like the detail. I suck at drawing garbage and stuff like that it's just so tedious but it adds something to the environment.

If you dont mind my asking, how long does it take you to draw something like this, because i see an immense amount of detail.

I actually finished this one surprisingly fast. I started this Friday night. So about 24 hours between starting and finishing, though obviously not consecutive. How long it takes me to do anything really varies and is sort of hard to actually give an exact number of hours, since it's really a matter of how much I procrastinate and get distracted. I often get stuck taking a week to finish things with half as much detail, usually just poking at something simple like the flat colors.
