Description
At the Old Chateau, a manor that was abandoned by its owner which now house ghost type Pokémon, a single Gengar was floating in the air, wait for anyone to come near it. That was, until a Quick Ball came out of nowhere and try to capture the Shadow Pokémon. However, it dodge it and looked in the direction the Ball came from. In that direction, it saw a young female trainer. That trainer was Dawn, the new champion of the region and who took down the evil Team Galactic. Right now, she trying to complete the Pokédex, and Gengar is one of the Pokémon she needs. “Well, that didn’t work. So much for making this quick.”, Dawn said. She then called out her starter Pokémon, Torterra, and smiled, “Are you ready to battle it, Torterra?”

The Continent Pokémon then yelled its name and looked intently at Gengar. “I will take that as a yes!”, Dawn said as she got ready. Torterra then rushed at Genger, who immediately fired a few Shadow Balls at the Pokémon. “Torterra, dodge them and counter with a Crunch!”, she told Torterra. The Continent Pokémon then did as they trainer said and avoided all the shadowy blobs that came its way. After that, Torterra then crunched down on the Shadow Pokémon, which cause the Pokémon to fall towards the ground. Dawn the threw a Ultra Ball at it, causing it to be capture inside the ball. Dawn waited in anticipation as it shook. Finally, after the third shake, three stars came out of it, indicting that it was capture.

With that, Dawn had a smile on her face and rushed towards the Ultra Ball. “Woohoo! That one more down!”, she said happily as she place the Ultra Ball in her bag. She then turn towards Torterra and gave it a hug around it’s neck. “And I couldn’t have done that without your help!”

Torterra then said it’s name happily. Dawn then got out Torterra’s Poké Ball and called it back in. After that, she put the Poké Ball back in her bag. “I’m pretty much done in here, so let me head back to Eterna City and see who else I need for the Pokédex!”

However, as she was about to leave, heard a sound that made her stopped dead in her tracks. “Huh? What was that?”, she asked as she went towards the noise. As she made her towards the noise, she saw that it came from a room that she had never entered. “Weird. This room wasn’t here before, at least, not from I remembered.”, she said with confusion. When she entered the room, she saw that the only thing in the room in the room was a Poké Ball on a shelf. “Huh, why is there only a Poké Ball in this room?”, she wonder to herself. She started walking towards it, hoping to see what is it.

However, as soon as she got there and tried to get it done, she realized that she was too short to grab it. “*Sigh*. Come on.”, she said. Luckily, she saw a chair in the corner. She took off her bag and moved the chair so she can use it to grab the Poké Ball. When she picked it up, she saw that it was a plain old Poké Ball. Well, beside it looking a lot older. “I wonder why someone left a regular Poké Ball here.”, she asked herself, “I wonder what is inside of it?”However, as soon as she was done looking at it, it began to shake. Dawn was shocked at that, so she started to place it down. “What’s happening?!”
But before she can pick it down, the Poké Ball opened, which shot a beam at her, zapping and launching her towards the wall.

“Ugghh...”, she said as her eyes were swirling. After a bit, she got out of her daze and look at the Poké Ball. “Oww, that’s the last time I will touch something strange in a old, abandoned manor.”, she said jokingly, with a slight smile. She then stand up and looked at herself, but she saw nothing different about her. “It looks like it didn’t do anything to me.”, she said with relief. However, as Dawn got her bag, she noticed that it was bit heavier than she remember. “Huh, that’s weird. I’m sure that it wasn’t this heavy.”, she wonder to herself, but she didn’t let it bother her. And with that, she smiled and started to head towards the exit of the manor, leaving the old Poké Ball on the ground, and unknowing what was going to happen to her....

After leaving both the Old Chateau and Eterna Forest, Dawn made her way towards Eterna City. There, she headed towards the Pokemon Center to rest up her Pokémon, waving to everyone along the way. When she got there, she give the nurse her Pokémon so she can heal them. After she did that, she sat on a chair and pulled out her Pokédex. “Alright, so I capture Genger, which I think means I only need one more Pokémon!”, she said as she looked through the dex. After a bit of searching, she found the Pokémon she needed. “It looks like I needed Porygon-Z, the final evolution of Porygon! I think I have the item, which I think it’s the Dubious Disc, in my bag to evolve it.”

As she lifted her bag up, she noticed that it was a bit heavier than last time. “Huh, that’s weird. I know it wasn’t this heavy.”, she said with confusion. She then searched her bag to find what she needed.

However, as she was doing that, a woman and her Pokémon walked into the building. As she was looking around, she noticed Dawn and started walking up to her, with her Pokémon close behind her. “Where is it? Why do I have so many items in here.”, Dawn said, not noticing the woman near her.

“Hello, Dawn. It’s nice seeing you again.”, the woman said with a soft voice. Dawn heard the voice and looked up, only to be pleasantly surprise on who it was. “Huh? Oh, hello, Cheryl and Blissey!”, Dawn said to the person she helped cross the Eterna Forest.

Cheryl then sat down next to her happily. “I thought you were training your Pokémon at the Battleground.”, she asked Cheryl curiously. “Well, me and my Pokémon decided to take a little break from battling. Isn’t that right Blissey?”

Blissey then said her name happily, as Cheryl giggled. She then looked back at Dawn, “Now, what are you doing here?”

“Oh, I’m just healing up my Pokémon.”, she said, but then her eyes lit up. “Actually, I’m just trying to complete the Pokédex!, she said as she showed Cheryl it, who was surprise on how much she got completed. “ Now all I need is Porygon-Z. Though, I’m trying to search for the item I need to evolve it.”

But before they can continue talking, Dawn notice that the nurse was calling for her to indicate that her Pokémon were done being healed. “Well, it was nice talking to you, Cheryl!”, Dawn said with a smile, as she stood up with her bag, “Hope I see you again!”

But before Cheryl could say the same thing, she notice something off about Dawn. “Hey, Dawn. Do you notice some off about yourself?”, she asked as she stood up.

“What do you mean by that?”, Dawn replied as got back her Pokémon from the nurse.

“Well, you seem...a bit shorter than you were originally.”

“Hey! I am not that shor..”, but before she can finish her sentence, she also notice it too. “Wait, what?”

She saw that she was all shorter than Cheryl. She was originally about a head shorter than her, but now she was about two heads shorter than Cheryl. “Wait, how could this happening? What could have cause this?!”, she wondered, slightly panicking a bit.

She tried to remember what could have happened that would have cause her to become shorter, but then it hit her. “It was that old Poké Ball, it had to be!”, she said as she rushed out of the building. “Hey! Wait up!”, Cheryl called out as she called back Blissey and chased after Dawn.

As she exited the building, she saw Dawn running towards the forest. “Dawn, wait!”, Cheryl yelled, which stopped Dawn from running anymore. “What’s going on? Why did you ran out of the Pokémon Center and what was that about a Poké Ball?”, she asked Dawn.

Dawn then quickly explained what had happened at the Old Chateau and with the old Poké Ball, with Cheryl listening closely.

“Huh, I see.”, Cheryl said after hearing the story, “Well, if that’s the case, let me help!”

Dawn looked at Cheryl’s face and saw that she was concern about her. “Ok, come on! Let’s go then!”, Dawn said with a small smile, though she was still scared about what is happening to her.

After that, they started to walk quickly towards the Old Chateau and hopefully, stopped Dawn from shrinking.

After entering Eterna Forest and walking a bit, they finally reached the abandoned manor, which was being blocked by a tree. Dawn went into her bag and pulled out a Poké Ball.
“Weavile, I choose you!”, Dawn yelled as she threw the ball, revealing the Sharp Claw Pokémon.
“Weavile!”, the Pokémon said while sharping its claws.
“Weavile, use Cut!”, she commanded her Pokémon. The Pokémon heard that and started to furiously slash the trees, leaving almost nothing behind. She called Weavile backed into its Poké Ball and put it back in her bag.

However, as she did, she realize that her bag was starting to become a lot more heavy for her, meaning that she probably shrunk some more. “Here, let me help you.”, Cheryl said, seeing Dawn struggle with her bag.

“Thank you.”, Dawn said as she give the bag to Cheryl, who put it around her arm.

After that, they walked towards the manor and door. Dawn then led Cheryl towards the room where the Poké Ball was.

“This is the room if I remember.”, she said, as she opened the door to the room and they both enter.

When they enter the room, they saw the Poké Ball in the corner. “See, it was where I left it!”, Dawn said as she was walking towards the ball. “This wasn’t to hard!”

However, before she can pick it up, a wild Gastly came in the room and snatch up the Poké Ball. “Hey! Give that back!”, Dawn said to the Gas Pokémon. Gastly looked at her and quickly floated away, with the Pokémon Trainers following close behind.

As they reached the main room, Cheryl called out Blissey, and handed Dawn a Poké Ball out her bag. “You might need this.”, she said as she handed it to Dawn. Dawn then called it out, revealing that it was Porygon2.

“Porygon2, use Psychic on Gastly!”, Dawn said to the Virtual Pokémon. Porygon2 then fired a strong telekinetic force at the ghost Pokémon, hitting it and causing it to cried out its name. “Good job, Porygon2!”, Dawn said happily, “That wasn’t too hard!”

However, it then screech and attracted other Gas Pokémon to its location, causing the two trainers to be surrounded. Cheryl then looked at Dawn, who was now shorter than her hips. “I should really stop saying that...”, Dawn said as she and Cheryl got their Pokémon ready.

They then told their Pokémon to use their moves on the Wild Pokémon. Blissey used Psychic and Porygon2 used both Shadow Ball and Psychic on them, taking them down with ease.

However, as they were taking down the last of ghost-type Pokémon, the one that has the Poké Ball floated to the top floor. Dawn notice it and told Porygon2 use Psychic on it, which it did. Although, it avoided the attacks, and entered a bedroom upstairs.

Dawn noticed that it went upstairs and she told Cheryl that she was going after it. Cheryl nodded her head and stayed downstairs with Blissey to fight after the other Ghost-type Pokémon. Dawn and Porygon2 then went into the room that the Gastly entered.

As she entered the room, she saw the Gas Pokémon and told Porygon2 use Shadow Ball on it. Porygon2 then fired off a few Shadow Balls at it, though Gastly avoided all of it. “Come on!”, Dawn said, starting to get annoyed by it. Gastly then fired off a Dark Pulse at the Virtual Pokémon, hitting it and causing it to fall towards the ground.

“Porygon2!”, Dawn cried out and ran towards her fallen Pokémon. But before she can reach her it, Gastly appeared in front of her, towering over her. She then backed up a bit, mostly out of fear. “ H..hey there..”, she say scarily, “W..would you kindly give me the back the Poké Ball...haha...”

Gastly then screeched its name and fired off a Shadow Ball at her, which she barely avoid. “H..hey! Stop that!”, she yelled at the Gas Pokémon, who responded by firing off another Shadow Ball at her. She was able to dodge it and then ran towards her Pokémon, while Gastly followed straight behind.

Before she can reach her Pokémon, she accidentally tripped on her own feet, causing her to fall towards the ground. “Oww...”, she said as she looked back at Gastly, who was preparing to fired off Dark Pulse at her. “Porygon2! Help!”, she yelled as she close her eyes, preparing for the worse.

But before Gastly could fire off its attack, a telekinetic force came behind Dawn and hit Gastly, knocking it into a wall. Dawn opened her eyes and looked behind her. As saw that it was Porygon2 that attacked it. “Porygon2! Thank you!”, she said happily. Porygon2 said its name excitedly.

She then looked at the Poké Ball that it dropped and smiled. “Yes! This will be over soon enough!”, she said, as she and her Pokémon made they way towards the Poké Ball. When they got there, Dawn saw that the ball was half her size. “Now, all that I need to do is open the Poké Ball and it should stop me from shrinking and grow me back to my original height.”, she then pause and said, “I hope. Hopefully it doesn’t cause me to shrink more, or grow beyond my original height...”

She then shook her head, “No! Don’t think like that! This will work!”

But as soon as she was about to open it, a bright light surrounded the fallen Gas Pokémon, which cause Dawn to look at it.
“Oh, you have to be kidding me.”, she say unenthusiastically.

After the light dissipated, it revealed that it had evolved into a Haunter. It then created a gust of repulsive wind around them, in which Dawn had to cover her face. “Wha...what’s going on?!”, she said confused. It then blowed a strong force of wind at both of them, causing them and the Poké Ball to be blown out of the room.

Meanwhile with Cheryl and Blissey, even though they were tired, they took down most of the Gastlys, with a few remaining. “Come on, Blissey. After this, we can help Dawn and Porgyon2.”, she said, as Blissey cried out in agreement.

After she said that, Dawn and her Pokémon came flying out of the room that they where in, screaming along the way. “Dawn! I got you!”, Cheryl yelled as she rushed to catch her. Fortunately, she was able to catch Dawn in her hands safely. “Gotcha!”, she said, “You’re safe.”

But before Dawn can say anything, an unconscious Porgyon2 slammed into Cheryl, causing her to be knocked towards the ground with the Pokémon. As they landed, all of the stuff from Dawn’s bag came flying out, like her Poké Balls and items.

“Oww..”, Cheryl said as Blissey helped her up. She then opened her hand to check on Dawn. “Are you’re ok?”, she asked Dawn, who was laying in the palm of her. “I’m fine...”, Dawn replied as she stood back. “Wait, where is the Poké Ball!?”, Dawn asked as she looked around frantically, “It has to be here, but where?!”

“You mean that Poké Ball?”, Cheryl said as she pointed to the Poké Ball near the stairs. “Yeah, that it!”, Dawn said enthusiastic. Cheryl then nodded and put the shrinking trainer on her shoulder. “Stay here, you will be safe here.”

But before she can walk towards it, a large horde of Gastly, led by the Haunter, blocked they way towards it, with Haunter grabbing it.

“Oh, come on!”, Dawn say frustrated. Cheryl, with a determine look, told Blissey to get ready to battle.

The Gastlys then started fire off their attacks. But since Blissey was weakened by the fight before, she

“Blissey, return!”, Cheryl say, as she called back her Pokémon. After that, she got out another Poké Ball, “Go! Drifblim!“, she said as she called out the Blimp Pokémon.

Drifblim then said its name and looked at its trainer. “Drifblim! Use Ominous Wind on Gastlys!”, she told her Pokémon. Her Pokémon then spin in a circle, and proceed to do what its trainer told it to do.

Meanwhile on Cheryl’s shoulder, Dawn just watched as everything was going down. She just wished there was something that she could do to help. “There has to be something I can do at this size!”, she thought to her. She then proceeded to look around.

However, as she was looking around for anything to help, she noticed a purple transparent device close to where Porygon2 is. “Wait, is that what I think it is?”, she asked herself. She then had a realization that cause her face to light up on. “That’s the Dubious Disc! It’s the thing I need to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon-Z!”

After saying that, she looked at her Pokémon and smiled, “And could be our way to get rid of the Gastlys and the Haunter and get back the Poké Ball!”

And with that, she initiate her plan. While Cheryl was distracted with the battle, Dawn got off of her shoulder and made her way towards the ground. She then ran towards the disc and started to push it towards the Virtual Pokémon, since it was too big for her to carry.

“This...was a lot....heavier than I....expected to be...”, she say, clearly struggling on pushing it. She then looked back at the battle and saw that even though Drifblim was taking them out easily, it was still out numbered and taking a lot of hits.

Eventually, she moved the disc to her Pokémon and sat down next to it, completely exhausted by moving it. “That was..not easy at all.”, she said. She looked at her unconscious Pokémon and stood up. “Now, all I have to do is flip it on Porygon2 and it should evolve!”

After saying that, she then started to lift it up, but was struggling to do so. “Come on, get up and flip!”, she said, as she alter between lifting it up from behind her, and from lifting it up in front of her.

Finally, she was able to start flip it and eventually, was able to get it on its side. Then, with a strong push, she knocked it down on Porygon2. As soon as landed on it, a bright light started to surround it, which cause Dawn to cover her eyes.

Meanwhile, back with Cheryl and Drifblim, the Blimp Pokémon was able to take down a few Gastlys with relative ease. However, Drifblim was soon overwhelm by all Gastlys’ attacks, causing it to take a ton of damage and eventually faint.

“Come back, Drifblim!”, Cheryl said, as she called it back to its Poké Ball. She then got out another Poké Ball. “There’s still too many of them!”, she say as she called out Milotic from its Poké Ball.

“Milotic, use Ice Beam!”, she told the Tender Pokémon, who was getting ready to fire off the attack.

But before it can fire its attack off, a few Shadow Balls came out of nowhere and hit a few of the Gastlys, causing them to fainted. “Huh?”, Cheryl said confusingly, as she looked in the direction of where the attack came from.

When she looked in that direction, she was both shock and surprise to see that the attack came from Porygon2, who evolved into Porygon-Z.

It then moved around erratically and fired off attacks, on the Gastlys, causing them to faint. When the Gastlys tried to fire off their attacks at it, Porygon-Z easily dodge them and counterattack.

Cheryl watched as the Virtual Pokémon easily took down the most of Gastlys. “Wow.”, she said. She then told her Pokémon to help out Porygon-Z, in which Milotic nodded its head and joined the battle.

However, she then remember something about Porygon-Z. “Wait, the only way to evolve it is if it was giving an item. And the other person who knew that was...”

Her attention then went towards her shoulder, and she saw that Dawn wasn’t there. She then sighed, knowing that it had to be Dawn that made Porygon2 evolve.

But now, she has no idea on where Dawn could be. “Aaaaaaaah!”, a small distant voice yelled.

Even though it was barely audible, Cheryl noticed it and it sounded like it came from where the battle was going on. She looked in that direction and saw something small on top of Porygon-Z’s head. However, as she looked more closely, she saw what was on top of it and was shock on what she saw.

“D...dawn!?”

“I really should have thought this out more!”Dawn said, as she was clinging on the antenna on top of Porygon-Z’s head as it moved around and attacked.

She then looked started to look around. “Come on, where is that Haunter?”, she asked herself, “It should be easy to spot.”

However, as she was wondering that, the Haunter she was looking for, appeared behind Porygon-Z and fired off a Dark Pulse towards it.

It directly hit the Virtual Pokémon, causing it to move slightly forward a bit. And in turn, cause Dawn to start losing her grip on the antenna.

“Aaah!”, she screamed, as she grabbed back on it, more tightly than before.

Porygon-Z then turned around to face the Gas Pokémon, and was preparing to fire off an attack.

However, before it did, Haunter use Sucker Punch andquickly floated towards it and hit it with it’s fist, knocking it back a bit.

“Porygon-Z, use Psychic on the Haunter!”, Dawn told her Pokémon, who shake it’s head, causing Dawn to hold on even more.

Porygon-Z then proceeded to fire off a ton of strong telekinetic forces at Haunter, who was able to dodge most of them. However, a few of was able to hit it, causing it to cry out in pain.

Haunter then responded by firing off its own attacks, which Porygon-Z was able to dodge some of them. And it on like this for a few minutes, with both sides equally matched. That was until, Cheryl’s Milotic fired off an Ice Beam at it, freezing it in process.

“Now it’s your chance!”, Cheryl yelled towards them, “Take it out!”

Dawn nodded and told her Pokémon to use Shadow Ball on it, which directly hit the Gas Pokémon, causing it faint and start falling towards the ground, with it dropping the Poké Ball in the process. As soon as the Gastlys saw what happen to Haunter, they all left the area, not wanting to faint like Haunter did.

“Yes! We did Porygon-Z!”, Dawn said happily, she then looked at her Pokémon, “Now, drop me off at the Poké Ball, please.”

Porygon-Z then did what its trainer asked it to do and bought her to the Poké Ball. Cheryl called back her Milotic to its Poké Ball and walked towards it.

When Porygon-Z bought her close to it, Dawn jumped off and landed near the ball. When she got near it, she saw that she was about one-fifth of the Poké Ball’s size.

“Alright, now all that I have to do is open it and I should return to my original size!”, she said, as she tried to open the Poké Ball. However, as she tried to open it, she found out that she couldn’t reach the button. “Come on...”

“Here. Let me help you.”, Cheryl said from behind her, as she picked up the Poké Ball and looked at it.

“So, all that I have to do is open it in your direction, and it should return you to your original size, right?”, she asked Dawn, in which Dawn nodded.

After that, Cheryl aimed the Poké Ball in Dawn’s direction, and opened it. As it open, a beam shot out of it, zapping Dawn and causing her to launched towards the wall.

“Dawn! Are you ok?!”, Cheryl asked.

“Yeah...”, Dawn respond, as she started to get back up, “I’m fine...”

However, as got back up on her feet, she noticed that everything seem to be shrinking. “It’s working!”, Dawn said happily.

Finally, after a few seconds, she got back to her original height. Dawn then looked at Cheryl and gave her a hug.

“Thank you so much, Cheryl!”, Dawn said happily, as she hug her.

“You’re welcome, Dawn.”, Cheryl said. She then looked at Poké Ball and gave it to Dawn. “Here, you take this.”

As Dawn got it, Cheryl then asked Dawn an important question. “What are you going to do with it, now?”

Dawn looked up at her and said, “I’m going to take it with me, so that no one has the problem that I had with it.”

Her attention then went to her bag and all the items that spilled out of it.

“Hey, can you help me put all of my stuff back in my bag?”, Dawn asked Cheryl, who simply smile and nodded her head.

And with that, they made their way to the bag and its spilled contents, and started to put the stuff away, including the old Poké Ball, which shake slightly...

She then stand up and looked at herself, but she saw nothing different about her. “It looks like it didn’t do anything to me.”, she said with relief. However, as Dawn got her bag, she noticed that it was bit heavier than she remember. “Huh, that’s weird. I’m sure that it wasn’t this heavy.”, she wonder to herself, but she didn’t let it bother her. And with that, she smiled and started to head towards the exit of the manor, leaving the old Poké Ball on the ground, and unknowing what was going to happen to her....

After leaving both the Old Chateau and Eterna Forest, Dawn made her way towards Eterna City. There, she headed towards the Pokemon Center to rest up her Pokémon, waving to everyone along the way. When she got there, she give the nurse her Pokémon so she can heal them. After she did that, she sat on a chair and pulled out her Pokédex. “Alright, so I capture Genger, which I think means I only need one more Pokémon!”, she said as she looked through the dex. After a bit of searching, she found the Pokémon she needed. “It looks like I needed Porygon-Z, the final evolution of Porygon! I think I have the item, which I think it’s the Dubious Disc, in my bag to evolve it.”

As she lifted her bag up, she noticed that it was a bit heavier than last time. “Huh, that’s weird. I know it wasn’t this heavy.”, she said with confusion. She then searched her bag to find what she needed.

However, as she was doing that, a woman and her Pokémon walked into the building. As she was looking around, she noticed Dawn and started walking up to her, with her Pokémon close behind her. “Where is it? Why do I have so many items in here.”, Dawn said, not noticing the woman near her.

“Hello, Dawn. It’s nice seeing you again.”, the woman said with a soft voice. Dawn heard the voice and looked up, only to be pleasantly surprise on who it was. “Huh? Oh, hello, Cheryl and Blissey!”, Dawn said to the person she helped cross the Eterna Forest.

Cheryl then sat down next to her happily. “I thought you were training your Pokémon at the Battleground.”, she asked Cheryl curiously. “Well, me and my Pokémon decided to take a little break from battling. Isn’t that right Blissey?”

Blissey then said her name happily, as Cheryl giggled. She then looked back at Dawn, “Now, what are you doing here?”

“Oh, I’m just healing up my Pokémon.”, she said, but then her eyes lit up. “Actually, I’m just trying to complete the Pokédex!, she said as she showed Cheryl it, who was surprise on how much she got completed. “ Now all I need is Porygon-Z. Though, I’m trying to search for the item I need to evolve it.”

But before they can continue talking, Dawn notice that the nurse was calling for her to indicate that her Pokémon were done being healed. “Well, it was nice talking to you, Cheryl!”, Dawn said with a smile, as she stood up with her bag, “Hope I see you again!”

But before Cheryl could say the same thing, she notice something off about Dawn. “Hey, Dawn. Do you notice some off about yourself?”, she asked as she stood up.

“What do you mean by that?”, Dawn replied as got back her Pokémon from the nurse.

“Well, you seem...a bit shorter than you were originally.”

“Hey! I am not that shor..”, but before she can finish her sentence, she also notice it too. “Wait, what?”

She saw that she was all shorter than Cheryl. She was originally about a head shorter than her, but now she was about two heads shorter than Cheryl. “Wait, how could this happening? What could have cause this?!”, she wondered, slightly panicking a bit.

She tried to remember what could have happened that would have cause her to become shorter, but then it hit her. “It was that old Poké Ball, it had to be!”, she said as she rushed out of the building. “Hey! Wait up!”, Cheryl called out as she called back Blissey and chased after Dawn.

As she exited the building, she saw Dawn running towards the forest. “Dawn, wait!”, Cheryl yelled, which stopped Dawn from running anymore. “What’s going on? Why did you ran out of the Pokémon Center and what was that about a Poké Ball?”, she asked Dawn.

Dawn then quickly explained what had happened at the Old Chateau and with the old Poké Ball, with Cheryl listening closely.

“Huh, I see.”, Cheryl said after hearing the story, “Well, if that’s the case, let me help!”

Dawn looked at Cheryl’s face and saw that she was concern about her. “Ok, come on! Let’s go then!”, Dawn said with a small smile, though she was still scared about what is happening to her.

After that, they started to walk quickly towards the Old Chateau and hopefully, stopped Dawn from shrinking.

After entering Eterna Forest and walking a bit, they finally reached the abandoned manor, which was being blocked by a tree. Dawn went into her bag and pulled out a Poké Ball.
“Weavile, I choose you!”, Dawn yelled as she threw the ball, revealing the Sharp Claw Pokémon.
“Weavile!”, the Pokémon said while sharping its claws.
“Weavile, use Cut!”, she commanded her Pokémon. The Pokémon heard that and started to furiously slash the trees, leaving almost nothing behind. She called Weavile backed into its Poké Ball and put it back in her bag.

However, as she did, she realize that her bag was starting to become a lot more heavy for her, meaning that she probably shrunk some more. “Here, let me help you.”, Cheryl said, seeing Dawn struggle with her bag.

“Thank you.”, Dawn said as she give the bag to Cheryl, who put it around her arm.

After that, they walked towards the manor and door. Dawn then led Cheryl towards the room where the Poké Ball was.

“This is the room if I remember.”, she said, as she opened the door to the room and they both enter.

When they enter the room, they saw the Poké Ball in the corner. “See, it was where I left it!”, Dawn said as she was walking towards the ball. “This wasn’t to hard!”

However, before she can pick it up, a wild Gastly came in the room and snatch up the Poké Ball. “Hey! Give that back!”, Dawn said to the Gas Pokémon. Gastly looked at her and quickly floated away, with the Pokémon Trainers following close behind.

As they reached the main room, Cheryl called out Blissey, and handed Dawn a Poké Ball out her bag. “You might need this.”, she said as she handed it to Dawn. Dawn then called it out, revealing that it was Porygon2.

“Porygon2, use Psychic on Gastly!”, Dawn said to the Virtual Pokémon. Porygon2 then fired a strong telekinetic force at the ghost Pokémon, hitting it and causing it to cried out its name. “Good job, Porygon2!”, Dawn said happily, “That wasn’t too hard!”

However, it then screech and attracted other Gas Pokémon to its location, causing the two trainers to be surrounded. Cheryl then looked at Dawn, who was now shorter than her hips. “I should really stop saying that...”, Dawn said as she and Cheryl got their Pokémon ready.

They then told their Pokémon to use their moves on the Wild Pokémon. Blissey used Psychic and Porygon2 used both Shadow Ball and Psychic on them, taking them down with ease.

However, as they were taking down the last of ghost-type Pokémon, the one that has the Poké Ball floated to the top floor. Dawn notice it and told Porygon2 use Psychic on it, which it did. Although, it avoided the attacks, and entered a bedroom upstairs.

Dawn noticed that it went upstairs and she told Cheryl that she was going after it. Cheryl nodded her head and stayed downstairs with Blissey to fight after the other Ghost-type Pokémon. Dawn and Porygon2 then went into the room that the Gastly entered.

As she entered the room, she saw the Gas Pokémon and told Porygon2 use Shadow Ball on it. Porygon2 then fired off a few Shadow Balls at it, though Gastly avoided all of it. “Come on!”, Dawn said, starting to get annoyed by it. Gastly then fired off a Dark Pulse at the Virtual Pokémon, hitting it and causing it to fall towards the ground.

“Porygon2!”, Dawn cried out and ran towards her fallen Pokémon. But before she can reach her it, Gastly appeared in front of her, towering over her. She then backed up a bit, mostly out of fear. “ H..hey there..”, she say scarily, “W..would you kindly give me the back the Poké Ball...haha...”

Gastly then screeched its name and fired off a Shadow Ball at her, which she barely avoid. “H..hey! Stop that!”, she yelled at the Gas Pokémon, who responded by firing off another Shadow Ball at her. She was able to dodge it and then ran towards her Pokémon, while Gastly followed straight behind.

Before she can reach her Pokémon, she accidentally tripped on her own feet, causing her to fall towards the ground. “Oww...”, she said as she looked back at Gastly, who was preparing to fired off Dark Pulse at her. “Porygon2! Help!”, she yelled as she close her eyes, preparing for the worse.

But before Gastly could fire off its attack, a telekinetic force came behind Dawn and hit Gastly, knocking it into a wall. Dawn opened her eyes and looked behind her. As saw that it was Porygon2 that attacked it. “Porygon2! Thank you!”, she said happily. Porygon2 said its name excitedly.

She then looked at the Poké Ball that it dropped and smiled. “Yes! This will be over soon enough!”, she said, as she and her Pokémon made they way towards the Poké Ball. When they got there, Dawn saw that the ball was half her size. “Now, all that I need to do is open the Poké Ball and it should stop me from shrinking and grow me back to my original height.”, she then pause and said, “I hope. Hopefully it doesn’t cause me to shrink more, or grow beyond my original height...”

She then shook her head, “No! Don’t think like that! This will work!”

But as soon as she was about to open it, a bright light surrounded the fallen Gas Pokémon, which cause Dawn to look at it.
“Oh, you have to be kidding me.”, she say unenthusiastically.

After the light dissipated, it revealed that it had evolved into a Haunter. It then created a gust of repulsive wind around them, in which Dawn had to cover her face. “Wha...what’s going on?!”, she said confused. It then blowed a strong force of wind at both of them, causing them and the Poké Ball to be blown out of the room.

Meanwhile with Cheryl and Blissey, even though they were tired, they took down most of the Gastlys, with a few remaining. “Come on, Blissey. After this, we can help Dawn and Porgyon2.”, she said, as Blissey cried out in agreement.

After she said that, Dawn and her Pokémon came flying out of the room that they where in, screaming along the way. “Dawn! I got you!”, Cheryl yelled as she rushed to catch her. Fortunately, she was able to catch Dawn in her hands safely. “Gotcha!”, she said, “You’re safe.”

But before Dawn can say anything, an unconscious Porgyon2 slammed into Cheryl, causing her to be knocked towards the ground with the Pokémon. As they landed, all of the stuff from Dawn’s bag came flying out, like her Poké Balls and items.

“Oww..”, Cheryl said as Blissey helped her up. She then opened her hand to check on Dawn. “Are you’re ok?”, she asked Dawn, who was laying in the palm of her. “I’m fine...”, Dawn replied as she stood back. “Wait, where is the Poké Ball!?”, Dawn asked as she looked around frantically, “It has to be here, but where?!”

“You mean that Poké Ball?”, Cheryl said as she pointed to the Poké Ball near the stairs. “Yeah, that it!”, Dawn said enthusiastic. Cheryl then nodded and put the shrinking trainer on her shoulder. “Stay here, you will be safe here.”

But before she can walk towards it, a large horde of Gastly, led by the Haunter, blocked they way towards it, with Haunter grabbing it.

“Oh, come on!”, Dawn say frustrated. Cheryl, with a determine look, told Blissey to get ready to battle.

The Gastlys then started fire off their attacks. But since Blissey was weakened by the fight before, she

“Blissey, return!”, Cheryl say, as she called back her Pokémon. After that, she got out another Poké Ball, “Go! Drifblim!“, she said as she called out the Blimp Pokémon.

Drifblim then said its name and looked at its trainer. “Drifblim! Use Ominous Wind on Gastlys!”, she told her Pokémon. Her Pokémon then spin in a circle, and proceed to do what its trainer told it to do.

Meanwhile on Cheryl’s shoulder, Dawn just watched as everything was going down. She just wished there was something that she could do to help. “There has to be something I can do at this size!”, she thought to her. She then proceeded to look around.

However, as she was looking around for anything to help, she noticed a purple transparent device close to where Porygon2 is. “Wait, is that what I think it is?”, she asked herself. She then had a realization that cause her face to light up on. “That’s the Dubious Disc! It’s the thing I need to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon-Z!”

After saying that, she looked at her Pokémon and smiled, “And could be our way to get rid of the Gastlys and the Haunter and get back the Poké Ball!”

And with that, she initiate her plan. While Cheryl was distracted with the battle, Dawn got off of her shoulder and made her way towards the ground. She then ran towards the disc and started to push it towards the Virtual Pokémon, since it was too big for her to carry.

“This...was a lot....heavier than I....expected to be...”, she say, clearly struggling on pushing it. She then looked back at the battle and saw that even though Drifblim was taking them out easily, it was still out numbered and taking a lot of hits.

Eventually, she moved the disc to her Pokémon and sat down next to it, completely exhausted by moving it. “That was..not easy at all.”, she said. She looked at her unconscious Pokémon and stood up. “Now, all I have to do is flip it on Porygon2 and it should evolve!”

After saying that, she then started to lift it up, but was struggling to do so. “Come on, get up and flip!”, she said, as she alter between lifting it up from behind her, and from lifting it up in front of her.

Finally, she was able to start flip it and eventually, was able to get it on its side. Then, with a strong push, she knocked it down on Porygon2. As soon as landed on it, a bright light started to surround it, which cause Dawn to cover her eyes.

Meanwhile, back with Cheryl and Drifblim, the Blimp Pokémon was able to take down a few Gastlys with relative ease. However, Drifblim was soon overwhelm by all Gastlys’ attacks, causing it to take a ton of damage and eventually faint.

“Come back, Drifblim!”, Cheryl said, as she called it back to its Poké Ball. She then got out another Poké Ball. “There’s still too many of them!”, she say as she called out Milotic from its Poké Ball.

“Milotic, use Ice Beam!”, she told the Tender Pokémon, who was getting ready to fire off the attack.

But before it can fire its attack off, a few Shadow Balls came out of nowhere and hit a few of the Gastlys, causing them to fainted. “Huh?”, Cheryl said confusingly, as she looked in the direction of where the attack came from.

When she looked in that direction, she was both shock and surprise to see that the attack came from Porygon2, who evolved into Porygon-Z.

It then moved around erratically and fired off attacks, on the Gastlys, causing them to faint. When the Gastlys tried to fire off their attacks at it, Porygon-Z easily dodge them and counterattack.

Cheryl watched as the Virtual Pokémon easily took down the most of Gastlys. “Wow.”, she said. She then told her Pokémon to help out Porygon-Z, in which Milotic nodded its head and joined the battle.

However, she then remember something about Porygon-Z. “Wait, the only way to evolve it is if it was giving an item. And the other person who knew that was...”

Her attention then went towards her shoulder, and she saw that Dawn wasn’t there. She then sighed, knowing that it had to be Dawn that made Porygon2 evolve.

But now, she has no idea on where Dawn could be. “Aaaaaaaah!”, a small distant voice yelled.

Even though it was barely audible, Cheryl noticed it and it sounded like it came from where the battle was going on. She looked in that direction and saw something small on top of Porygon-Z’s head. However, as she looked more closely, she saw what was on top of it and was shock on what she saw.

“D...dawn!?”

“I really should have thought this out more!”Dawn said, as she was clinging on the antenna on top of Porygon-Z’s head as it moved around and attacked.

She then looked started to look around. “Come on, where is that Haunter?”, she asked herself, “It should be easy to spot.”

However, as she was wondering that, the Haunter she was looking for, appeared behind Porygon-Z and fired off a Dark Pulse towards it.

It directly hit the Virtual Pokémon, causing it to move slightly forward a bit. And in turn, cause Dawn to start losing her grip on the antenna.

“Aaah!”, she screamed, as she grabbed back on it, more tightly than before.

Porygon-Z then turned around to face the Gas Pokémon, and was preparing to fire off an attack.

However, before it did, Haunter use Sucker Punch andquickly floated towards it and hit it with it’s fist, knocking it back a bit.

“Porygon-Z, use Psychic on the Haunter!”, Dawn told her Pokémon, who shake it’s head, causing Dawn to hold on even more.

Porygon-Z then proceeded to fire off a ton of strong telekinetic forces at Haunter, who was able to dodge most of them. However, a few of was able to hit it, causing it to cry out in pain.

Haunter then responded by firing off its own attacks, which Porygon-Z was able to dodge some of them. And it on like this for a few minutes, with both sides equally matched. That was until, Cheryl’s Milotic fired off an Ice Beam at it, freezing it in process.

“Now it’s your chance!”, Cheryl yelled towards them, “Take it out!”

Dawn nodded and told her Pokémon to use Shadow Ball on it, which directly hit the Gas Pokémon, causing it faint and start falling towards the ground, with it dropping the Poké Ball in the process. As soon as the Gastlys saw what happen to Haunter, they all left the area, not wanting to faint like Haunter did.

“Yes! We did Porygon-Z!”, Dawn said happily, she then looked at her Pokémon, “Now, drop me off at the Poké Ball, please.”

Porygon-Z then did what its trainer asked it to do and bought her to the Poké Ball. Cheryl called back her Milotic to its Poké Ball and walked towards it.

When Porygon-Z bought her close to it, Dawn jumped off and landed near the ball. When she got near it, she saw that she was about one-fifth of the Poké Ball’s size.

“Alright, now all that I have to do is open it and I should return to my original size!”, she said, as she tried to open the Poké Ball. However, as she tried to open it, she found out that she couldn’t reach the button. “Come on...”

“Here. Let me help you.”, Cheryl said from behind her, as she picked up the Poké Ball and looked at it.

“So, all that I have to do is open it in your direction, and it should return you to your original size, right?”, she asked Dawn, in which Dawn nodded.

After that, Cheryl aimed the Poké Ball in Dawn’s direction, and opened it. As it open, a beam shot out of it, zapping Dawn and causing her to launched towards the wall.

“Dawn! Are you ok?!”, Cheryl asked.

“Yeah...”, Dawn respond, as she started to get back up, “I’m fine...”

However, as got back up on her feet, she noticed that everything seem to be shrinking. “It’s working!”, Dawn said happily.

Finally, after a few seconds, she got back to her original height. Dawn then looked at Cheryl and gave her a hug.

“Thank you so much, Cheryl!”, Dawn said happily, as she hug her.

“You’re welcome, Dawn.”, Cheryl said. She then looked at Poké Ball and gave it to Dawn. “Here, you take this.”

As Dawn got it, Cheryl then asked Dawn an important question. “What are you going to do with it, now?”

Dawn looked up at her and said, “I’m going to take it with me, so that no one has the problem that I had with it.”

Her attention then went to her bag and all the items that spilled out of it.

“Hey, can you help me put all of my stuff back in my bag?”, Dawn asked Cheryl, who simply smile and nodded her head.

And with that, they made their way to the bag and its spilled contents, and started to put the stuff away, including the old Poké Ball, which shake slightly...

First shrink story, I hope you enjoy it! This took a while to think of, but I do hope you like it!
