I likely have said this each time I've posted a landmark but I'll say it again. When the first images of mine went up I really had no clue whether anyone would see them. I had no idea what I was doing and took a shot I might get someone to see them. Fast forward five and a half years from that first post (though DeviantArt tells me I've been a member for 11 last week so I guess this is a double landmark) and Ive come a long way baby. I long ago gave up chasing numbers, viewers and watchers. I realized pretty early on that I create to a fairly specific taste and that I'd never generate huge numbers and frankly I no longer care about that. However, this one caught my eye a short time back and I want to say there are so many of you that Im grateful to have found your way here. The James Street Gym has sort of taken on a life of it's own and that doesn't happen without plenty of invested watchers. Thank you all so very much.

I know this doesn't seem to be any real special image to celebrate this milestone, but it's special none the less. Ive come to understand that nearly all of my characters have fans. Some have a load of them, some have a smattering, some have one or two. Im a fan of Laura myself. The first character I created, probably the one gone through the most changes or updates, the one I had thought might be my only characters. (I was way off!) I wanted her getting this image and I wanted her in a format that sort of said who she was. Just a simple girl who works out a lot at her favorite place, is plenty good looking if she wants to be, is fun to be friends with and is fiercely driven to defend herself and the place she is loyal to. There is much more to her, but to me that has always been the crux of it. A simple image for a simple artist on a simple milestone.

Thank you all so very much for getting me here to this point. None of it happens without any of you and I could never express in words or images what that means to me. I so glad that I've discovered some new and wonderful friends through this endeavor.
