Everything looks so good! Only the eyes and the nose is less, hardest part of an animal.

I know you wanted me to critique this, but I think you should really try and work on your digital documentation of your work. For one, its pretty clear you took this in a dark room and on a non-flat surface. I tried adjusting the brightness/contract/levels myself, but I couldn't get anything close without loosing the details.
If you're taking a photo of something, you're best luck would be to take a picture of this outside, in pure daylight, preferably in the shade on a sunny day. I usually attach mine to my drawing board and have it stand as straight as possible against the back of the deck. Then I usually just lay down or whatever and take as level as a picture. If you can get a pretty evenly lit picture, it'd be a whole lot easier to adjust to accuracy within a paint program. Then again, it'd be easier to just scan, but I can't remember if you have a scanner.
If you want I can either lend you my scanner or show you how to adjust images within a paint program.
As far as an actual crit... you could use some more shading, definitely. Such as on the left side of the face and the back of the head- they could be a lot darker to emphasize the light source. Things such as the eyes, which look a bit dull, could use some more white hi lights to show more life/light. Other than that you did a great job on the fur...though it is hard to critique a image copied from a photo, I will day. xD I like how you did the wood/floor as well. It has the right softness and touch to fit with the cat.

Alright thanks a lot and Ill keep this in my mind in the future. I actually never thought about going outside and taking a picture, and I use Picture manager to adjust the contrast and brightness and such, and its a really simple software.
So if I upload a new one should I just take this one down?

I know my computer came with paint shop pro 12 preinstalled on it, but I do have a CD for paint shop pro 10. Its like a basic version of photoshop, and it's probably got better editing features.
and its up to you..

yeah I cant really install stuff because of the whole administrater thing but going outside helped. I just realized you can change the picture here on dA so I think Ill be fine. I adjust the contrast and stuff on a cheap photo editor that came with the computer.
