They didn't exist at that point. I drew this before I wrote chapter 1, and his design got modified slightly once I started writing. They got added to his design when I realized how well they served the plot and have been there ever since (except for the times when I forget to add them on on accident.)

Ah. Well he still looks great as always. I adore the way you created his anatomy(lots of artists on deviantart make extremely fanciful mermaids and mermen that wouldn't really be able to live and reproduce, but I think you are definately one of the best )

This is almost as bad as that time on Gilmore Girls where Lorelei put the trout in the tub because her friend brought it back liveΒ so she grewΒ too attached to eat it. Not sure why it reminds me of that, though. Just... silly bathtub stories, I suppose.

I think Sam's mess might be making it hard for Devon to get attached to him. Right now, Devon really wishes that Sam could sleep in a bed instead of having to mop up the water he sloshes out of the tub when he rolls over in his sleep.
