Description
I found an old comic in one of my many ring binders, and decided to re-draw one of the pages. Here's the (quickly drawn) result.Maxim, or Max as he prefers to be called, is the younger brother of Ray. When Ray one day decided to leave their country for a better life, he begged his beloved brother to come with him, but Max didn't want to, because he had a best friend, Jack, and was in love with a girl called Alys. And he felt he needed to look after his mother whom he doubted could take care of herself.
Alys, Max's one big love, committed suicide not too long after Ray had left (it had nothing to do with Ray, though), so now Max is praying for his brother to come home and take Max and Jack with him to a better place.

Oh come on, Internet... the first time it was album "In The Rain" by neofolk band Sol Invictus, the second is some chinese comics or manga about a resurrection of a kitten and now this! Why? Why do you want me to cry, weep, moan?! I'm 22 years old male, at last!..

Awwww, such a sad story, but I really love how you do your facial expressions. And I have to admit Max is extremely cute. I do hope that Ray comes to check on him soon, and takes him away as Max is praying for. He certainly can't be left there!

she'd lost both her parents (they were killed by bombs) and had only her crush, Jack, left to live for. But she overheard him saying to Max that he didn't love Alys (which was a total lie. He did love her, but so did Max, and not wanting to steal his best friend's love, he lied to him instead). She was all alone in that country, had no relatives or friends, the only hope she had left was that Jack would love her back. So when she overheard those things, she was left heartbroken, and decided she now had nothing left to live for, and committed suicide..
I made a comic of this I just told you, but that was years ago and it doesn't look very good... I'm considering re-drawing it, so you might see it in my gallery some day

*Sigh*. Sad story... never believed in suicide myself. And I don't care for my family one bit... not my drunkard of a father at any rate. It's just not an option for me, kind of like giving up future experiences all because of other people. Just never made sense. I think too much. XP

yeah, I agree with you on that; committing suicide is, to me too, just giving up the future, and everything else. Things do eventually get better, at least that's what I believe.
So, people shouldn't give up that easily...

Oh dead oomizuao, please consider making a comic out of your Spike novel, or fix up the comic that this page belongs to
