I was inspired by a heart I saw in this other drawing here on deviantart. Lost the link to it though, but it made me want to draw a heart too, and since just drawing hearts on a paper is boring, I drew Sam doing it..
I had to download a new set of brushes for this one, to get the brush stroke to look a bit realistic. Creds for the photoshop brush can be found further down here:hope you like this little piece :3

I just hadΒ to find this image again and favorite it. I know I shouldn't hold onto them, but it's an old sentimentality.
It's a long story about me and my brother, but I remember sharing this image with him while we we're still good siblings. I cared about him a lot, and for a moment, I felt like someone in my family actually loved me out of their own good will, and not just because "it's right to do so."
But I guess in the end that just wasn't how things were going to turn out. We stopped coming in contact, and I've never had anyone like him since then.
I still go back to the image I have in my pictures folder and think about all my attempts just trying to show him how I felt.

I am fixed on his face, his eyes more, on how hopeful and lovely the world is. Complete opposite of how spike sees the world.

You never fail to impress with the skill of these drawings, every one seems to contain so much, you can feel the emotions flowing from it and grasping your heart. Brilliance once again, sam looks at peace wich is nice to see, gives a bit of hope that this may be slightly inspired from latter in the novel
