hope for
the forever-and-ever
happiness
in fairy tales
that you
still yearn for.

arsenic
coated dream is
your love life's
reality.
It's a shame
really,
how you can't
seem to look
past the
filter hidden
just over your eyes.
The
sugar-coated lies
were dangled
in front of
your nose,
And you
blindly
snatched them up.
You
couldn't hear
that small voice
warn.
The ring
blanketed your
doubts.

An unfortunate
phrase to
which few
manage to
keep their word.

picture tattooed
to replay in your
head.
A
thought
so sweet you
know you'll
need a

The
wax wings that
melted at a
touch,

fighting to
stay high.
But,
gravity took form
of the hands
that wrapped
around your ankles
and pulled you
down.

universal sign
for affection,
the rose hides
it's thorns.
But,

the skin will
