Name: Jian Huang (Gee-Ahn Huu-Angh)
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Height: 6'
Personality: Quiet and shy when he first meets someone, but once he gets to know a person he's more relaxed and confident. Can be kind of a diva, especially when it comes to his clothes because he loves designer brands. Cares deeply for those he loves and can be a bit of a cry baby if he misses them. Scares easily. He can be protective of those close to him if he feels they're threatened, but prefers to avoid unnecessary conflict. Jian is also skilled in hand to hand combat, having practiced martial arts like Tae Kwon Do since he was young. He also knows a bit of judo, and is very confident in his ability to defend himself if need be.

History: Jian was born and raised in Lochesh, and has never traveled outside of Lochesh. He's never expressed much desire to travel outside of Lochesh, it's out of his comfort zone and he gets very on edge when he's outside of his comfort zone. However, he in a flash of sudden courage (later he'll say it was stupidity) he decided to sign up for the tournament in hopes that by venturing outside of his comfort zone he'll become a stronger trainer.

Despite the fact that Jian grew up in Lochesh, most ghost type pokemon scare the ever-living-arceus out of him. Smaller gohst types like litwick, lampent, ghastly and yamask don't scare him, but he's terrified of other ghost types like Gengar, Cofigrigus and Dusknoir. He's never properly explained the reasoning behind this fear, however it's commonly believed that he had a terrible experience with a ghost type when he was young that scarred him. In fact, his phobia used to be a lot worse. He used to be terrified of ALL ghost type pokemon. His parents worried about this, and decided that to help their son get over his fear, they'd get him a harmless ghost type, a litwick. Lily was Jian's first pokemon and he loves her dearly. Lily is a bright, happy ghost pokemon, which was a really helpful personality trait to have when Jian was still trying to get over his fear as a young boy. She is still helping him get over his fear of ghost types, and she feels very protective of Jian, much like an older sister, and sometimes Jian will depend on her for comfort.

Jian mysteriously obtained Orchid sometime around the age of 15. One day Jian went for a walk and just came home with her. He looked spooked, but wouldn't say a word about how he found her or why he decided to keep her.

Kalamite was a pokemon Jian obtained not long after his 18th birthday. It just happened one day that Jian noticed that he was being followed. He didn't know by who or what, but whatever it was it kept it's distance, and didn't seem to mean any harm. After about a week of being followed, Jian confronted his follower, and it turned out to be Kal. In truth, Kal was only very fascinated by Jian, and liked to observe his movements. Jian offered for Kal to live with him, an offer to which Kal excitedly accepted. Kal is very curious about human behavior, and is an avid people watcher.

Very big sister-ly. She's always happy and bubbly, much to Orchid's displeasure. She's the only Ghost type that Jian has completely accepted and is very comfortable around. Even around other lampents, Jian can be very tense.

Quiet and dark are probably the most accurate descriptions of Orchid. She doesn't say much, but is a brilliant strategist in battle and is very fierce. Don't get on her bad side! Also, she HATES being mistaken for a boy. So don't do it. EVER. That is, if you value living.

Psychic- Calm mind- Telekinesis- Thunderbolt

Extremely interested in people and their behaviors. Very curious about everything they do. He wouldn't mind sitting and people watching for hours. He finds Orchid rather scary, and prefers to avoid her.

-Wears a pair of glasses because he's seen humans wear them. He doesn't actually need them.

-Jian's poncho has a see through back that is very light and flowy
-Jian's outfit is comprised of: Long sleeved shirt, poncho, large scarf, silver pants and tennis shoes
- Jian doesn't carry many items with him, and stores his pokemon's pokeballs in a hidden pocket in the front of his poncho
-Jian's ears are pierced in the same place on each side, so one earlobe and one cartilage piercing per ear
-Jian looks like REALLY scary at first, but he's really sweet, so don't judge by appearances!
