Hi Kate,
I have mangaed to see most of your work on this site...Exceptional!!!!! I have one query. What made you choose ISO 400 as the film speed as it tends to bring noise to the images. But anyways your camera handled this very well. You sure must be happy with your camera!! And I wish I could see the original image without the cloud background. AWESOME WORK AGAIN..

surreal colors and perspective! I love the low horizon line, it really makes it dramatic and lets you get a lot of pretty blue sky^^

Yes, of course. But with a standard camera, i can only produce standard photographs.
If i have a good camera such as the Canon eos 20d, i can produce better quality photographs, use more equipment such as lenses, and i find when i use a better camera, i end up with better pictures.
With my current camera, i just take it along and take pictures of what i like, the best way i can.
if i was able to get my hands on a canon eos, i garuntee my photography would be taken to a whole new level

I currently have an olympus mju 410 - which suffices but is nto brilliant for what i want to do - take proper photo's and not snapshots.
Take yesturday for example - there was lightening and fricking tonnes of it, but i couldnt set a long exposure time so i could take any pictures of it.
Had i had a camera such as the canon eos 20d, i would hav been able to do so and woulkd have had some amazing results

As I didnt really like that daily deviation I commented on I find this one is much more worthy of a daily dev.
Great capture of (uncontrolable) dog, heh. Problem with animals is you can'T tell them to stop moving and it seems like you asked him this time and he did it.
Looks like you really had time to think about the pictures composition as, I assume, you had none.
His eye is placed on the third of the picture and the sky part also takes two thirds in height and one third in... heh, the other way 0_o XD.
As if it was intended!
Anyways, enough babbling:
great picture!

For me I feel that you sometimes over saturate images to an extent where they become artifical... this is certeanly a personal oponion, but at this image I just couldn't help to remark that. But the composition is excelent!

Thank you. I agree with you. But its just that I feel that without giving it some extra color its dull.. So I dont know what to do.
