a lil facial study and general appearance notes of Beleth, my main oc and favorite lady :>
it's something that i've seen some other artists do with their own oc's sometimes and I thought it would be fun to give it a try for myself! Beleth is one of the few oc's I have that I do think abt in this level of detail, i think bc her design is one of the few that i've had around and been developing for this long...which I think at this point is 8 years total!
I also wanted to create this just as a reference for myself so that I don't accidentally default to more generic features while drawing her. As far as a lot of her facial features go re: my character designs in general, she's the exception to a lot of rules when it comes to small details of her design, like her brow shape or her color palette for ex. That and there are some small things that I've always had in my mental image of her but never had the skill to actually include in my art until now, so this is also a lil appearance update i guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
