I'm not sure as to what emotions the artist has intended to portray in this piece but personally it brings across a really haunted and dark feel.
I think it's got something to do with the colours and the clothes hanging on the trees, it's almost a euphemism for hanging. Please don't criticize because that's just what i feel.
