Character Description
Although irrefutably a britannian 'Pure-blood' citizen on paper, her bloodline is unidentifiable. Quiksilv Lernaea is a prodigy student attending Ashford academy, readily scoring high in advanced mathematics, engineering and chemistry - even taking college level work. The only clue to her unknown past is an Alchemical Grimoire written in ancient Greek, with an accompanying translation made in Japanese. As such Quiksilv has developed a hidden interesting and working knowledge of '11' culture in her quest to learn about her past. During Prince Clovis's attempted purge of the Shinjuku Ghetto, she was caught up in the violent mayhem during a school-ditching visit to a 11/Japanese black marketer that made shop there. Her friendly acquaintance and occasional chess opponent was killed as he presented an important clue to her ancestry - an eldritch Blue Oni mask of unknown manufacture. As the Brittanian soldiers massacred her acquittance and injured Quiksilv, her need for revenge awakened a nascent bloodlust and she forcibly joined the Japanese Rebels on the scene. Afterwards, Quiksilv investigated and made contact with fellow Ashford student Kallen, secretly a half-blood Brittanian and one of the Japanese Rebels, through a note written in '11' katakana. The flow of events lead eventually to Quiksilv joining the Order of Black Knights, piloting the 'Blue Oni' KMF she personally re-engineered from the Guren Mk.1 and spare parts from the Gekka Pre-Production Test type.

Of strange note, the Radiant Wave Surger of the Blue Oni follows a unusual design and subtle wavelength variation unique to the unit built by Quiksilv through reverse-engineering the Gekka's radiation arm. Details found within the Alchemical Grimoire can be attributed to these peculiarities. A result of this oddity is that the Blue Oni's radiation weapon is prone to 'Corrode' or disintegrate its targets more than what is observed as the norm with the Guren pattern Radiant Wave Surger.

Berserker Mask
"According to legend" the strange mask was created with 'Orichalcum' (Atlantean copper) and 'Mythril' (alchemical Silver-Steel). At the very least it doesn't rust, age, or else adversely effected by water. At the very least, it's particular legend says it was created by an Alchemist-Sorcerer and used by a oni-like berserker-samurai - possibly the same mythological person. Although a peculiar detail is that this Alchemist-Berserker is said to have had the ability to grow tails, dagger-claws, and a wolf-like maw as their bloodlust and battle-fervor reached its peak. Some lore-keepers have tried to link the mask with this power, but the original tale only says that it is only a mask - unique in only its user and/or creator...

There have however... been examples of this pattern of Mask found in other places around the world as 'Out of Place artifacts' - in particular Lerna, Greece. Those that know of Geass have attempted to use these masks as protective measures against such supernatural powers, but it appears the power to resist or ignore the 'Power of the King' is more likely related to the eldritch qualities of its wielder than the mask itself...
