The dhole (Cuon alpinus) is a canid native to Central , South and Southeast Asia . Other English names for the species include Asiatic wild dog,[3] Indian wild dog,[4] whistling dog, red wolf[5]

In any language, it should be labeled what it actually is, which is a Dhole. It is also called Cuon alpinus ("red dog"), but not a red wolf.

Far more brutal, a specially when he grew up. You can see USSR version of this movie, it's almost like in book! Oh, I know, I'll give you a Youtube link on 4th part where there were red wolfs [link]

Cool. I wish there was an subtitled version.
In the Disney Version it always bothered me that Kaa was a bad guy as far as I remember he wasn't in the original.

It's a shame we almost only get American or Japenese animated movies and series here, but we did watch "Nu, pogodi!" as kids, that was awesome. XD
