It continues to be one of the greatest mysteries of our time. They say the first hydruta was a blue-haired girl named Anna, though some evidence has suggested the existence of other hydruta in other parts of the world. It is not known if they are a further evolution off of the more familiar "futanari" or homo hermaphroditus, or if they themselves were spawned as offspring from a common ancestor between the two.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Hydruta are seen frequently as human females for the most part, given the characteristics that most women would have including ample breasts and a generally feminine physique. However, they also have several genital tendrils - herein referred to as "penises" - that are anywhere from one to four feet in length each, averaging around two-and-a-half feet. There can be as many as nine such penises on any given hydruta, each of which seems to have a certain "personality" of sorts to it (see Brain Power below). There have also been reports of what may be a "male" variant of hydruta, in which the penises also retain a pair of testicles, though this occurs less frequently than their "female" variant.

BIOLOGY

-Organ Structure
The hydrutan organic structure is not unlike that of a regular humans, save for their multiple penises. Upon further examination, it seems these penises are typically connected to the hydruta's stomach, which itself is a marvel to examine (see Digestive below). Hydrutan penises are capable of things normal human penises are completely incapable of, such as independent movement, food consumption, and even communication (though most of the time this is in the form of animalistic growls, clicks, and whistles).

-Brain power
Hydrutas have a peculiarity in their brains which may account for the multiple "personalities" that they tend to display. While most of the brain's structure is, again, similar to that of a regular human's, there is another region which correlates to the various penises. This may indicate that hydrutas have adapted to having a slightly larger brain to account for their penises' own thoughts; whether or not that makes them smarter than humans has yet to be seen.

-Lifespan
The typical hydrutan lifespan is not unlike that of a human's, ranging anywhere from 80-90 years on average. This of course may change depending on individual circumstances and factors, but assuming they live in the same conditions as any other human subject, they will (on average) outlive them by about 10 years most of the time.

-Physical Abilities
  Strength
Hydruta have many similarities to humans, and as such they have many of the same characteristics that they do. The main difference in abilities lies with their penises, which are vastly different from human penises. Strength-wise, each penis has been witnessed to easily be able to lift up the average human (approx. 136 lbs), suggesting that they are far stronger than normal human muscles. Further studies are needed.

Speed
Not notably faster than a human, yet somehow they are able to match pace even with the encumbrance of having multiple large penises. Further study is needed to test why that is the case...

  Flexibility / Ease of Movement
Hydrutan penises, like human penises, have no bone structure of their own, allowing for all kinds of flexible movement for them. This is especially useful given their length, which has proven useful for those hydruta who ended up being incorporated as spies.

  Acuteness of all senses
Hydruta have more acute senses compared to humans, making them our evolutionary superiors in a way. Tests have shown that hydrutan penises are able to taste, smell, feel, and listen, though without any ocular organs it's difficult to understand how they see.

No well documented evidence as to the comparisons between adult and child hydruta. Will need to wait until the child is born...

- Digestive.   Structure
The digestive system of hydrutas, while mostly similar to a human's, is structured somewhat differently when the penises are taken into account. Aside from the esophagus from above, there are several other esophagi extending from the stomach to each of the penises, thereby allowing for the consumption of food to descend directly into the hydruta's stomach. All other digestive organs remain relatively the same size, though like the brain are slightly larger than that of a regular human's.

The capacity of a hydrutan stomach varies, but one thing is for certain: it far exceeds the capacity of a regular human. Using the subject "Anna," she has been known to consume an approximated 35 tons of food. In theory, hydrutas require much more of an intake to accommodate for their generally larger organs as well as their penises - the more penises they have, the greater their intake must be.

  Rate of Food Use/ Starvation (how long to survive without eating, minimum daily requirement for eating)
Hydrutas don't actually need to eat much more than humans do, though depending on how many penises they have this can vary greatly. Their capacity far exceeds their needs, so they end up eating far more than is necessary, perhaps an evolutionary mechanism for enduring starvation. While it has yet to be tested, it's theorized that, based on their consumption rate and that humans can live without food for three weeks time, that a hydruta could be capable of living closer to three months time if not longer. Granted, there has yet to be a hydruta whose penises would not instinctually seek out food for themselves, so the theory has yet to be tested.

  Digestive Strength.
Hydrutan stomachs are able to compress food down much more immensely than most species are capable of. By comparison to the maximum capacity of humans - assuming that such a capacity is about 4 Liters or 8.8 lbs - the hydrutan stomach is far greater than that; depending on the number of penises a hydruta has on their body, they may be able to eat for as many as 23,727 people, or to put it into perspective, as much as the entire population of Mansfield, Massachusetts (c. 2010). Every head accounts for an additional approximation of 11.6 tons that the hydruta can consume - even a single-headed hydruta could eat as much as over 2,500 people!

  Diet Variety (To the most Extreme)
Hydrutas tend to eat anything edible they can get their hands on. Plants, animals, humans - if it can be eaten, the hydruta will eat it. This in turn has led to a very negative reaction towards their kind, though time has proven that hydruta are able to control their urges and keep themselves maintained with a stricter diet. Rampaging hydruta can be very dangerous in this regard.

Waste Products
   -Solid
Hydrutan waste tends to be large in its expulsion, typically weighing as much as whatever they end up eating. A typical calculation would say that the average hydruta, therefore, poops out 11.6 tons of fecal matter per head.

   -Liquid
While a good portion of the fecal matter tends to be solid, there is also a substantial portion that comes out as liquid. Since hydruta don't require that much to survive, a lot of it can be expelled including excess water. Urine depends on the hydruta's activities; it's larger than the typical human's given the larger kidneys hydruta have, and it may be best noted that it is expelled not through any of the penises but rather the urethra that accompanies the vulva. Presumably, even male hydruta expel urine through this hole, though there is not yet a test subject regarding that.

   -Gaseous
Through a rough series of calculations, it has been thusly concluded that hydruta are able to emit, over the course of an hour, almost 10k L worth of gas, enough to almost fill up 350 cu. ft., the size of the average 3/4 bath (including vanity, toilet, and shower) per head when they don't intake anything. With the consumption of various foods, this changes to be over 233k L worth of gas per head, filling up 8,333 cu. ft., occupying most of the space in the average apartment (assuming said apartment is about 9820 cu. ft.).

- Reproductive Information.   Means/Method Of Reproduction
Being physiologically similar to humans, hydrutas are capable of performing sexual intercourse with them. For female hydruta, this is merely a means of exposing their vagina to a willing male partner, while for male hydruta they have the option to either have intercourse with a female human, hydruta, or even themselves, as they are more than capable of performing asexual reproduction. Given these methods, it comes as no surprise then that hydrutas have been able to live for a very long time.

  Common Number Of Children Born At Once
Given the taxing demands of what birthing a hydrutan child can be, most of the time a parent will give birth to only one hydruta. Exceptionally rare circumstances have been heard of though in which two children are born to such parents, but this does not mean both are hydruta; there have been reported cases of fraternal twins, one of whom is a human and the other a hydruta. Further study will be needed on this.

  Sexual and Physical Maturity
From the reports between "Anna" and "Isabella," hydrutas seem to become sexually active and begin to go through puberty at around the same time as humans do, typically by the age of 13. In both cases, their physical bodies ended up having immense growth such that by the time they were 16, their bodies were as their adult forms would be, with minor physical changes occurring from there. Such changes include those that a typical human female would go through such as the growth of their breasts and hips while also including the immense growth of their penises to their full size. It is unknown whether this physical change also would accompany the testicles, as neither subject is a male hydruta.

  Child Care Methods
Hydruta are fairly similar to caring for children the way humans would, though the additional penises seems to aid somewhat in this regard. No hydrutan children have shown up at the time of this writing, so further studies will need to be conducted.

Hydruta do seem to respond very well to excessive consumption. In fact, it almost seems healthy to occasionally let them go on a "rampage" and let them devour anything and anyone they can get their hands on, as this pleases them immensely. Sunset is the only place I know of that could get away with that though, as any other place would never be able to accommodate their intake. That aside, further study is needed to see if they get pleasure from other acts, more specifically the sexual ones such as having intercourse through their own penises...

The penises seem to react very similar to certain stimuli that a canine would react to, especially with regards to protecting the host. If threatened, the penises will bark, growl, or otherwise deter the threat before taking very aggressive action. Given that it's been proven that a single penis can tear off the limbs from a human body with ease, it's highly recommended not to upset the penises. Or be near them when they're particularly ravenous.

  Calming Methods and Situations.
Similar to canines, the penises will also respond to certain relaxing stimuli, a very useful skill. The penises will respond positively to such things as satiating their appetite, applying petting to their bodies, or even the soothing lullabies of their host, as Anna has demonstrated once or twice.

Having been interspersed with the human population for so long, hydruta haven't had a particular connection to each other in terms of culture. Over time, there has been some cultural identification for hydrutas, though most of their practices are still similar to humans. Below are listed such changes between human families and hydrutan families.

- Familial Division Of Power.
The main hydruta is typically regarded as the head of the household unless she/he deems it otherwise to her/his partner, if any, or if the two agree they are mutually sharing the title. The last part has become the more accepted practice, especially with regards to a couple of one human and one hydruta.
- Common Areas of Work and Economic Activities
Due to their penile strength, hydruta have been hired on as of late to work as part of construction crews, which has greatly increased the efficiency of constructing new buildings over the course of time. At first, this was heavily opposed by the workers' guild within the construction industry, but over time they became more willing and accepting of their hydrutan partners. This was especially the case after the resolution of U.S. Amendment XXXIII, in which "hydruta" were treated on the same level as those outlined in Amendments XIV and XV. State laws would take longer to catch up, but ultimately they would integrate their own "pro-hydruta" laws.

Hydrutas have not been strictly kept to these construction efforts though, proving themselves capable in many other areas. Notably one such hydruta from the future is a judge for the Court of Temporal Anomalies, headed by the Guardians of Time!

-Religion
While no particular religion has been established for hydrutas, there remains a certain mysticism within their culture. One such thing is the belief that they are able to integrate another mind into their body, channeling it through one of the penises. That's what case study "Isabella" has told me at least, citing "Jack" as proof. Further study is required...

SKILLS-Common Useful Skills
Hydrutas are able to make great use of their penile strength for lifting up heavy objects or tearing things apart, as well as consuming large amounts of unwanted material that humans would not be capable of dealing with such as toxins or otherwise hazardous materials.

Law Culture-Specific Crimes

While in Anna's time there haven't been many laws regarding hydruta, over time there have been certain rulings within the hydrutan community with regards to their culture. For instance, according to Judge Isabella, it was deemed a few generations back - or from our perspective a few generations from now - that hydrutas were forbidden from the practice of consuming other hydrutas. Perhaps some sort of historical event occurs that provoked this ruling? Will need to wait to see...

Interspecies Relation
Most of the hydrutas' relations have been with the humans they coexist with. According to Isabella, they have been rife with conflict since the increase in the hydrutan population, though things have settled down into a semi-mutual relationship between the two races by her time. Still, she reported on their being much prejudice towards the hydrutan population by the humans, and there remain several conflicts during that time period. Perhaps we'll be able to help alleviate that.
EXTRA INFORMATION
Much of the questions we have regarding the hydruta species will need to be answered in due time. While Judge Isabella from the future has been able to divulge answers to several questions, she has not been at liberty to answer all our questions, presumably for temporal-related reasons. Regardless, with Anna's child on the way, we may yet be able to discover many more secrets to the hydruta.

Interspecies Relation
Most of the hydrutas' relations have been with the humans they coexist with. According to Isabella, they have been rife with conflict since the increase in the hydrutan population, though things have settled down into a semi-mutual relationship between the two races by her time. Still, she reported on their being much prejudice towards the hydrutan population by the humans, and there remain several conflicts during that time period. Perhaps we'll be able to help alleviate that.
EXTRA INFORMATION
Much of the questions we have regarding the hydruta species will need to be answered in due time. While Judge Isabella from the future has been able to divulge answers to several questions, she has not been at liberty to answer all our questions, presumably for temporal-related reasons. Regardless, with Anna's child on the way, we may yet be able to discover many more secrets to the hydruta.
