Heavily inspired by Shuumatsu no Walküre/Record of Ragnarok, here's a template for creating your very own divine weapon.

If you ask how a 'Divine Weapon' works, I'd expect the following:

Greatly Enhanced Power: A Divine Weapon is powerful enough to injure and with enough damage even kill gods. And likely other mythical and supernatural beings as well, such as demons, angels, ghosts - probably pretty much anything you want to choose, really.

Greatly Enhanced Durability: In the manga, ordinary weapons would shatter from merely touching a god. Divine Weapons can endure and depending on the weapon, even repel blows from gods and other mythical entities. Do note however that this doesn't necessarily make them indestructible.

Unique Power: In Record of Ragnarok, each Divine Weapon is granted a unique special power stemming from the name of the Valkyrie who formed the bond with the warrior in question.

However, in order to give far more possibilities, here the source of the power doesn't necessarily have to be a Valkyrie - you can choose whatever object or entity you wish to use as the source of power.

And there you have it. Feel free to think of whatever idea you want.
