Painting is a great stress reliever. This painting was done as a way to let my stress go and it just developed itself entirely on its own. My life is dedicated to working with people and doing my best to help people achieve their dreams. I am an activist in my community, I am the President of the PRIDE organization at my university, I am currently writing a book geared towards LGBTIQA, activist-minded students in college. I have a lot of what I want, but I'm still chasing one thing - the same thing that every other LGBTIQ person is chasing - equality. Hopefully we'll get it sometime soon.
NOTE: One of my friends pointed this out to me a few days ago, but the space in the palm of the hands makes a heart, which was a happy accident. Those are my hands 100% unaltered, I just happen to have heart-shaped palms!

I love that painting- the rainbow, the circles... The sky above us.... And the hands, which are reaching (or a kind of a stamp) for warm coulors. There can be diffrent dreams, which can involve other people (the multiplicity of hands), and can spread all wishes outside- so the bubles can go up- to the surface or... blue sky? Universe? (like a stars? )

how did you do the hands? are they white paint over the rainbow paint, or unpainted portions of canvas? hard to tell... just curious...

I painted my hands with white paint and pressed them onto the canvas.
