Description
This lovely lady's original artist is a deviant who goes by the name Hitana. Her work is beautiful and her Gijinka Butterfreereflects this. On a more specific note, I think the work on the hands, head, and wings are particularly nice. This is my attempt at giving it it's shiny colors by using adobe photo shop. I know it's not perfect but I'm doing this to learn, because I especially love shiny pokemon, and I think the gijinka pokemon project is awesome, as are the artists who contribute to it.

Wow... I kind of stumbled onto mine in a weird way. I noticed in my game, someone had a butterfree with them and the sprite was pink... in the bug catching game, it mentions extra points for pokemon of unusual color, and then at the lake of rage a girl mentions a pink butterfree. One day I decided to do the bug catching contest to get a pink butterfree... the second I set foot into the grass, I encountered a blue venonat so of course I caught it. I used the interrupted save trick so I could immediately do the contest again while keeping the venonat. Then I searched for a good long while and got my butterfree, which was pink when it attacked me... it was a pain and I almost didn't catch it. In retrospect I've had really good luck w/* shinies. ^_^
Using the mew glitch, I helped my daughter catch her first mew when she was four... it had decent stats but I asked her if she wanted to try for better... I'm glad she declined because it turned out to be shiny, too! ^_^ She takes a lot of pride in the blue mew she caught at such a tender age.
I've bred shinies with cool moves and had hell breeding a shiny eevee - which I love. I've caught and bred many but lately I've just been using glitch tricks to create them and set them up with weird moves.

lol I've gotten a blue krabby that has yet to evolve. I kinda got out of my old cyrstal game. I got myself some master balls using the interupted save

I caught a blue voltorb the other day in one of my really old games which was too cool. I've since glitched some clones of it's baby into various weirdnesses.
As for items, I use a combination of my mega memory card and N64 Pokemon Stadium to store items... but it can be risky... both the the game paks and the memory thing have been known to occasionally murder my games and or lose all data respectively... there've been some casualties but my kids love battling each other so it's worth the trouble. I've been making super babies through breeding and glitch exploitation so they've been kicking each others butts with a wide array of lvl 5-ers. They finally talked me out of getting rid of the dragon raging mew which I thought just kind of defeated the purpose but I gave it a better range of moves to choose from.

Yea! I'm glad. I was kind of knocking myself as I didn't notice some of the mistakes until it was too late to undo them and they had already been saved. I still think she looks beautiful in pink. I love your work and just had
to see it shiny as the second shiny I caught (and one of my favorites) was
that elusive pink butterfree. ^_^
