Insects love (to bite) me!!! A Camponotus sp. ant with her mandibles locking onto my flesh. Ouch. Selangor, Malaysia. I was photographing another Carpenter ant when I felt sharp pain on my left wrist! It was this ant!More tropical ants: orionmystery.blogspot.com/2012ā¦

... did he get a chunk of you? I had a Blackjacket on my arm once, he was stinging me, I don't know why, I guess they are just really irritable. It was weird, it's stings didn't hurt at all, then suddenly it bit into me with it's mandibles "Ouch!" I shook the bastard off and got out of the garden, the thing took a lentil sized chunk of my arm... and it wouldn't stop bleeding, normally the blood would clot after a minute, but it didn't... I'm thinking this must be the effect of it's sting.
