Check it along with other amazing works here: www.equestriadaily.com/2014/05β¦This is a slight variant in my usual Kimono Ponies. This is actually, technically, a story crossover of My Little Pony and the old, Japanese folk tale of "Momotaro." This story has particular meaning to me as the first time I set foot in Japan it was in Okayama, the place where I met what would become a life long friend and second family, opening up a new world of culture and kindness. The story of Momotaro was one of the first traditional stories I learned about and has a strong association with Okayama prefecture.
The kanji on the banner reads: "Rokudai Jyo-shou" which can translate to a few different things including "6 elements general" or if you chose "Main 6 business owner"

If you read the characters separately, it translates to Six Large Female...something, I can't read it like that

Thank you! I myself am not, but I study Japanese and am very close with my host family. I also studied Wushu as a child, so I got to see a lot of Chinese culture too.

Love how you did that!! Momotaro is one of my favorite stories! I was in Japan twice now. Once on the mainland in Chiba new-Town-Chuo and then just got back from Okinawa about a month ago. Learned a lot while i was there, including a few more stories. =^.^=

Aha, peach boy! or in this case book horse as peach boy. Wonderful use of color as always! I will always remember momotaro because that was the name of my favorite and now out of business sushi restaurant. I was on first name basis with the owner and head chef... many hours and birthdays were spent there. They had a traditional piece of art up similar to this in pose.
