Going to be working on some portfolio stuff and really want to focus on character design for now...
Was kind of testing the waters with this one to see how far I have come...
Can still do better but unfortunately I feel like I spent too much time on this guy especially since I kind of don't like his design from the waste down...

Nice job man. I'm right there with you, samurais are awesome. You mentioned you don't like the design from the waist down, maybe try giving him baggier/droopier pants?

Its not that... I just feel like it didn't fit as a whole and the elements that I used weren't well thought out...
hahaha but thanks... once I post I don't go back... Just make sure the next one is better... unless it is such an amazing thing that it is worth the effort.
But I don't think I have created anything that I would go back and make better...
So many ideas to get out...
