May I ask what your brief was? Or will that contain spoilers?

No spoiler in this one as there was no exact briefing in this one except to be an armour design with a "theme".Β

Later on this theme was roughly boiled down to the Source Hunters uniform.

I recognise the belt and I still think it's absolutely fab.
Did the hearts make it into the uniform in any way shape or form?

Unfortunatly no, the hearts didn't make it, as goes with many little detail things that get lost in the "boiling down" process. I suppose it's a natural thing when you work in hive and you're not the queen bee.

Unfortunalty I say, since I belief the devil is in the details.

Well I assume details is not what makes a character concept a great one - it should already be great at a glance, and the little fiddly things would then add spice...
Though I don't know how doable all of these things are to incorporate in a game character, seeing as there will be at least some measure of technicalities to keep in mind. Maybe on a low-res model, the pretty little things might look like clutter, even? It makes me wonder.

For sure technicalities is one, the other is the "lost in translation" part. Each time a job is passed on to the next set of hands you have parts that are unintentionally left out. Either because it was seen as unimportant, or it was over looked, or time simply ran out.

In that case I'm happy toΒ  have been able to glimpse this early stage - always interesting!
