Description
Enniskillen Castle houses the museum of military artifacts from various wars; many medals are donated from the recipients and families of recipients to view within the museum. Lough Erne is very large lake and the castle was at the upper end of lake and in history was the stronghold for the leader of the times. The Peace wall I am standing in is one of the sites at the castle and is a memorial outdoor visiting place with stone wall with children's mentions describing hopes for continuing peace. Enniskillen is on an island, and the home of my mother, grandmother and grandfather who left after my grandfather fought for Irish Regiment in WWI. He returned to Saskatchewan, Canada and his homestead he decided to continue farming with his wife and young daughter, my mother. So I am always Irish.
