Hey, you know that project i said i had about two months ago? Well, i finished it.
My mom was painting something for a cousin, and i got really inspired by watching her use the paintbrush. O.O The paintbrush was mystical, almost as if it were calling out to me, whispering, "Ossshhhhiieeee!! uuussssseee mmmeeeeeee!". Also, comments are appreciated.

Composition and proportion:I love the semi-abstract nature of the feathers and the way you have textured the comb! I am wondering if the eye is perhaps in the wrong place, but then it depends on the view of the rooster! Perhaps some shading would be needed on the white of the eye to make it a little less bright and fit in better! The composition is very striking though, with the bright red shaping the face!!
Tonal range and colour: I love the brightness of the colours and the stark contrast against the white, blue and red. The repetition of yellow in the beak and feathers helps everything to fit together! The greys help to add depth to the colour and add another layer of detail - they really stop the image from being too bright, which I like - almost reminds you the subject is something natural, the duller blue you have used has the same effect.
Marks and texture: The repetition of circles in the background and on the comb and wattle ties the image together, whilst the colours separate the subject from the background. The way you have represented the feathers is very effective allowing the viewer to easily differentiate between textures on the rooster without overdoing the detail. Perhaps a little more detail would be required on the comb to help illustrate the way it flows, but other than that I think you have struck a very good balance.
Overall: A very compelling composition with an interesting mix of textures and colours!
