A very interesting photo. Looks very old. And lonely.

lonely... or maybe just someone trying to find themselves (which can be quite tricky sometimes).

and thanks

These all look like they were taken a hundered years ago at the north pole...

Now my mind is imagining sitting in some dusty library searching through old reference books with broken spines and a few of these polaroids slipping out. Artfully forgotten there by some explorer who has since past away and spent many of his last days looking for these photo's he misplaced years ago in hopes of telling his grandchildren of his adventures....

I love day dreaming!

Polaroid film has a great quality to it. In this I like how the center of the image has washed out to white and all the tones around it blend in. The effect really adds a poetic effect to the whole image.

thanks, yea polaroid film really blows my mind sometimes. I love it so much, especially peel-apart. I think it's a combination of the sounds the camera makes, the instantaneous results, and the overall unpredictability.

What happens to your compass when you stand on top of the North Pole? 20ft to the left and you would've known!
