I might be going crazy, but I swear some of these styles look like you're trying to draw your sister a little.

"When I'm not so worried about being perfect things come out so much better"
I can definitely see how this affected this piece. The roughness and raggedness of the painting and lack of super-smooth lines makes it
gorgeous.
This is extremely wonderful to look at! And, seeing that most of your other works pertain to typical anime themes, it makes this painting even more special!
I highly recommend you do more of these because this is absolute eye candy.

Thanks! I'm trying to get out of the typical anime style that I've been so attached to.
^^ And yes I will be doing more of these! I have a few movie scenes lined up that I want to work on.

The best way to get away from the anime art style is to virge into a more fleshy, sexual art type. It's best to find inspiration (i.e. Studio Killers, Skullgirls) before working on a new style. Still, it's nice to see how refined your anime style is! Especially the hair~
I can't wait to see more practice images from you. Even if you think they're absolute crap, you can always stuff them in the Scrapbook section or remove them from your featured gallery folder.

Ooh! That's actually a really good idea. I've always love the style of Skullgirls. And I've ironically been told that haha!
C: I'm pretty sure I'll keep them up. I love looking back through my gallery and seeing how much I've progressed
