Summer's finally here!

I'm done with finals and ready to enjoy my summer by reading and drawing, but it's also a sad time for me as well. Friends are leaving, and I'll be returning to the states soon. Of course, I'll be in much easier contact with the friends who live there, but I'll be leaving a piece of my heart in Japan. I've had a such amazing time here and I really don't want to leave... (DAT CHEESE AMIRIGHT).

That aside, this piece is a gift for Haru, a good friend of mine that I had the privelage of meeting here. She does Japanese cover songs of MLP and even Stenven Universe and translates fimfics into Japanese. I'll provide links below. Long story short, she gifted me an actual tablet! It was such a kind act that I will forever be grateful for. It was such a generous gesture that I just had to give her something back in retur. And as for the title, for those who know some Japanese "haru" can mean spring and so it's like saying, "goodbye spring, hello summer," but it's also for Haru so it's like a greeting too HAR HAR HAR

*Ahem*

As for my watchers, expect some digital art. I like traditional and I'll continue to do it, but getting the colors to show up online like they do in real life is a bit disappointing for me and I want to test this tablet out asap. I'm not sure how many more pieces I can put in the coming weeks, but we'll see what happens.
