“Back!” she snarled, sliding a crude spear fashioned out of a piece of warped rebar and a combat knife off of her back. Just as I was wondering how she intended to wield such an ungainly weapon, she reared up on her hindlegs, twirling the polearm expertly with her forehooves as she did so before thrusting its tip at me, ready to strike. Wow. “If yer gonna kill me too, I’m gonna make ya work for it!” she yelled defiantly, and I smirked as her voice cracked adorably.Meet Caltrop, occasional acquaintance of Mach's party in my FoE sidefic, Outlaw. [link] Raised around raiders, though not one herself, be careful of your accusations around her. Goddess help you if you call her a raider or tell her that her cutie mark isn't a trio of caltrops, but rather, a bunch of jacks.

aaaaaa not again! You've still got four chapters to go before you meet her. Fun fact- Caltrop was originally Mach's fourth party member, but I thought better of it and she got pushed back to background character status.
As for pose, if you're going by the story excerpt in the description for mental imagery, that was added just to spice it up a bit. I was shooting for a sort of casual, relaxed defensive stance more than a 'ready-to-strike' pose.
