Description Chestnut. The colour of burned hot chocolate warming my hands, cupping my palms and burning my throat. Its the acid that drips down into my stomach and rumbles with relish; a burning passion to grab you from across the table and claim you, swallow you whole.

Alas, with the clink of my bronze ring against ceramic you look up with disinterest, flicking your stylish fringe as your gaze turns to outside. Outside, where the streets are dark and slicked with shadows hungrier than I for your soul.

Thank you! It was a spur of the moment sort of piece, and I think that's where it comes from. Yeah, I get that too when I read over it and yet it feels complete in a way, being an explosive snapshot of a moment in time.
