Here we see Dennis the Badger (from the "Doctor Snuggles" cartoon series).When I watched the "80s Cartoons" video by M Bubble on my Youtube at this present day, I suddenly saw a bit of "Doctor Snuggles" cartoon series.
I would never forget when I first watched "Doctor Snuggles" on TV back in 1980 - 1982 when I was aged 6 - 8. I watched Doctor Snuggles along with watching the "Butterfly Ball" cartoon music video, "The Drak Pack", "The Kenny Everett Video Show", "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and "Welcome Back Kotter". Peter Ustinov did the voice narration of the cartoon and he did the voice of Doctor Snuggles. There were two Doctor Snuggles episodes (episode 7 and epsiode 12) written by Douglas Adams (writer of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy") and John Lloyd.
The TV of the early 80s had inspired my siblings and I to do role plays of the characters of every series we watched on the TV. During the time we watched Doctor Snuggles in 1980 - 1982, we did a live action role play of Doctor Snuggles in the front yard of our house. One of my siblings told me that I will play the role of Dennis the Badger and I said to them, "Okay, I'll be Dennis the Badger. Good. I'm happy with that."
This is what inspired me to draw this artwork.
So here we have it. Dennis the Badger. The most reliable and dilligent assistant of Doctor Snuggles.

Television did seem better in those days- and how nice to find someone who actually also knows about the "Kenny Everett Video Show."
