Description Man did photoshop give me troubles. It crashed and I lost about an hour of work on this and had to redo a lot of stuff. Might have been because the file was bigger than most. 5000 X 3000 pixels. I allllmmmmooooosssttt gave up. But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. What do you think? Little scene from my viking book idea, where the main character has to come to terms with the things he can't explain or control.

I like the surrealism a lot. the character doesn't quite fit the background, though, nor do the rock formations. It's kind of cobbled together, but that's not at all a bad thing.

I agree. That weird choppiness and inconsistency in it really bothered me. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed! Thank you!

Wow. Amazing. I was considering getting a tablet so that I could do digital art. I'm not sure I can though. But geez, I cant believe that you can make something like THIS on a machine.

Aww, I'm flattered! That's so nice of you. Most of the time you can find a wacom tablet that comes with a free version of photoshop in it. It cuts down on expenses a little. The wacom tablet I got was less than a hundred dollars, I think actually around sixty bucks or something like that. I'm glad you like it!

Pakcy, this is beautiful!!!!! I absolutely love the moon!!! the whole setting looks out of this world. And with the character sitting on the ground like that, you can practically see the sadness, the confusion... WOW! Great job!

Most of the emotion is from the blue glow of the moon (seeing as blue is usually associated with feeling of sadness) and the way the character is positioned. One way or the other, it's amazing

Calmness... a sense of lasting (like moss) Maybe Green seeming calm is why deviantart is green?
