Redhead Digital Painting. Painted from scratch using Photoshop CC and Wacom Intuos5 tablet.
Time taken: Approx 4 days on-and-off.
Hartmut Nörenbergs photography is just great and I wanted to paint some of his portraits. I chose this one to do first, and to be my last for 2013
I decided to change the mood (rather than straight copy) and paint it quite a bit darker. Even though those that know me know what I think about painting hair, I think it turned out O.K.

Oh my gosh the rendering on this is so finished and pristine. The amount of depth that you added with the very specific radial focus is just breath taking as well. Even when i zoom in and press my nose to the screen I see more details. Very well done.
