actually i changed it a long time ago - all i did was upload a bigger version of the print so as i could get it for my wall. it's a shame that makes it appear again in everyone's list

Very nice, an inspired use of the contrast if i may say so There are so many ways it can be interpreted with meaning, and the filters really add to it rather than take away from the feeling as they often can. Although i would say that maybe the effect is just a little too strong on the cello.

beautifully haunting all the same.

Beautiful picture. I saw it at someone's favorites and somehow I knew it was Barcelona even in the thumbnail. It shows perfectly what you'd find if you visit the streets around the cathedral (I think the last time I went to that street there was a guitar player in that corner). Hope you enjoyed your trip to Barcelona. Montserrat is scary, isn't it? I see it everyday while driving to work and it really makes me feel nervous, like if it was hidding some evil thing There are books that say that Montserrat was supposed to keep the holy grail, and that it was the reason why Himmler visited it during the third reich. Glubs.

thank you very much. I LOVED Barcelona (and the surrounding area). I think I will go back one day. Monserrat didn't really strike me as scary at the time, but it was a sunny day when I was there. I think I could see it being scary on a stormy night . I know exactly what you mean though. I always think the island of Arran, near here, looks scary. you can imagine primitive people living on the mainland and assuming terrible monsters lived over there

thanks the cello always seemed like a cool instrument to me. a bit hard to get on the school bus though . I used to play the violin when i was a boy, but it doesn't have the same... gravitas
