Ok so this is DKS’ first breeding with none of the horses being any of ours…so…yea. Anyway hopefully the story is good. Once it started writing itself it just wouldn’t stop…so hopefully you guys enjoy it and get a good couple laughs (especially the bottom). Anyway these two horses are the beautiful RPS’ Swan Song. And IVS’ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. I feel a little spoiled having both of them here at DKS…very spoiled indeed.

When Danny saw Swan Song was opened for breeding, his emerald eyes glittered. And instantly got in contact with the pirates at RPS.

He had watched Morrigan stalk Sex babies like they were going out of style. Sex had been one of her favorite mares before she’d started her own stables, and her babies soon followed in Sex’s lines as her favorite horses. And one by one they got too old to breed. Each time Morrigan would cross one off.

Having no breedings planned this season to work on the others who where entered into training didn’t seem right to Danny, to just let this skimp by. Plus…if they got one now, then at least they had one. Plus Danny had a huge soft spot for the mare.

Finding a suiting stallion for her though came with a challenge. First Danny tried Suarez knowing the stallion knew Swan would make her more at home and more relaxed, but…that didn’t work. So off he went to find a stallion, and eventually giving in, and giving up his stealthy search called in Amber to have her help.

The choice was easy then, IVS’ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Wolferl for short. She loved the stallion, everything about the beautiful Obertaurer. His looks his personality and his skill. He had had Amber’s eyes ever since she’d first seen him. After getting in touch with IVS then back in touch with RPS the breeding was set.

Now all that was left was getting rid of Morrigan for a week. Which…seemed easier said than done. They tried everything, and with the days getting closer finally both Amber and Danny gave in their secret game, and involved Blaze. Whom they knew could easily drag Morrigan away.

With that Morrigan was sent to England, everyone cept Blaze very happy they had other things planned. Morrigan would be very hard to contain at England, and Blaze knew it. But he got on the plane with her threaten both Amber and Danny if he had to do it again so Danny could win the affections of Morrigan, he’d skin him alive. In which Danny flushed and merely said “I’m just being a good friend…plus there is nothing wrong with a good surprise”

When the breeding was finished and both horses sent back home Morrigan was free to return home. And Blaze was none the more happier to run home and hide with his Fiancé, Diane for as long as he could. And Morrigan noticed nothing different.

Till a week later when an email hit her inbox…

“YOU DID WHAT” She practically screamed from her office causing everyone who could hear her to freeze in terror. “DANIEL JAMES MCKNIGHT” she shouted and stormed out.

“You rang” he asked sweetly poking his head out of a stall door after he’d heard his name called.

“You bred Swan Song…And Wolferl” She growled. Danny nodded, now a little afraid his plan had backfired.

“Y-yes, why” he asked.

“YOU SENT ME TO ENGLAND SO I MISSED SEEING THEM!” she shrieked, grabbing one of the shovels near by.

“No-now Morrigan be civil…I was trying to surprise you” And once he caught a space he ran for it as fast as he could “COME ON YOU’LL LOVE THE FOAL!” he shouted slipping between people and horses trying to put space between him and the shovel that was bound for his head.

All the while most of the DKS staff watching from the window.
“Now see…this is why you don’t surprise a woman” Blaze nodded. In which Diane turned to him.

“Is that so sweetie” she chuckled, he looked at her already knowing he’d stepped on a bomb. “because if so that ‘surprise’ I had planned later just fluttered out the door like your brain” she smirked and stormed off.

“Well…better luck next time Blaze” Varian chuckled patting his shoulder. In which Blaze turned and glared at him “Your hand will always be your friend”, which was followed by a whack and a ow and Blaze storming off, leaving Varian with a headache.
