Name: Yuuka Hengeyokai
Bending skill: A master fire bender, Yuuka is capable of lighting bending. She uses precise attacks with all her techniques, focusing all the destructive power into a pinpoint blast. Unfortunately this causes her to do more damage she intends because the power is so concentrated.
Personality: An incendiary personality that is unlike her power in that it goes everywhere. She enjoys getting a rise out of people and catching them off guard. She enjoys the infamy her outrageous behavior garners because it means no one is complaining about how she does her job.
Their Past: Yuuka was a noble born who's father emptied the coffers in debts piled by poor luck and decisions. She abandoned her family and took on a new name, trying to survive on her own in the world. Her ability to at the time was nil and she married an affluent banker who presided over an accountant firm. She was his third wife and cared for his children as he tried to pass on his knowledge to his eldest son before his days had passed. While he was at work she was to teach the son from his notes. When her husband passed, before all the lessons were complete, her step son took over the firm and she was brought on as an adviser and silent partner. After a time she married again, when her role in the firm became less necessary. This husband was older and already had children like her next two husbands. She preferred it that way, without the overwhelming expectation to produce children. It was her fourth husband that she loved the most, though in an odd sort of way. He treated the marriage as what it was, as what Yuuka has only known marriage to be: a political arrangement. She felt more like a respected business partner then a hired caretaker and the two were a powerful political couple with their collective economic knowledge. But when they were out together one night her husband was assassinated. She nearly leveled the theater in a rage, she had finally felt some semblance of control in her position in life and now that was ruined. Though the situation turned for the best quickly. Her step son disappeared, leaving her challenge for the inheritance uncontested after its success. And with the two prime candidates for minister of the treasury dead or arrested, Yuuka was the best to fill the position.
Their Present: Now the most powerful woman in the city, Yuuka enjoys flaunting her good fortunes and power. She believes she's earned her power through persevering through troubles and through clever manipulations. Her tax laws are the most bloated and confusing to inflict the city, but allow for anyone to successfully pay much less then they may normally should they know how to work the rules. As such a certain accountant firm has made a killing as hired consultants. Her collections as a silent partner allow her to maintain her expensive tastes.
Their Future: Yuuka enjoys power and things she would enjoy more even more. She schemes in private to gain a greater edge over her peers.

Bending skill: None. Yuigha fights with a two handed sword that she often lights on fire with alcohol she keeps in a gourd on her belt. She uses wide sweeping arcs in dance like motions to create pressure and keep it applied.
Personality: Yuigha values her professionalism and is hardworking, however she is easily vexed with her charge's efforts to annoy her and often appears weary or depressed.
Their Past: Yuigha was a member of the Jingdou Elite guard until her right arm was incinerated in a heated raid on a gang hideout. Honorably discharged but distraught that her military career ended Yuigha saw few options in her life and none that she liked. But then she was offered a bodyguard position by a politician who's husband has just been assassinated. She was still training to use her sword with only one hand but was not about to decline. She followed her lady with a passionate zeal, feeling indebted that her place as a woman in arms was restored.
Their Present: Yuigha still feels indebted to Yuuka though at times its the only thing keeping her around. She admired aspects of Yuuka but is entirely frustrated whenever she feels the butt of a joke. Yuuka was the one to restore her self esteem and now the one to tear it down.
Their Future: She will dutifully follow her charge until one of them dies, or until dismissed.
