I am so jealous of you. I've long wanted to visit Easter Island and shoot it in IR. Nice composition here--the head cresting the hill is a nice touch.

A trifle "in your face" I'm keen on the idea of placing non-IR subjects like these massive stone heads against "natural" IR material -grass and so on. Check out Richard Dixon's work if you've not seen it - he's the expert.

You should have a look into infrared converted cameras. Backfocus like this wouldn't be a problem any more.
