Really nice mate, great colours. What program do you use?

cheers man! its a bit of a mix recently....i used to do them 100% with the brush tool in photoshop.......but i now do the letter outline in illustrator (better than spending days cutting back lines with the brush in PS)..

so if i dont sketch straight into photoshop, which is more than often....il do a rough paper sketch, then define a bit with brush in PS, transfer to illustrator and do the whole outlines and 3d (if they the same colour). then that vector of the lines is taken back into PS and the fill, 3d, background and any other small details are done all with the brush tool.

4 layers total...background - outline - 3d - fill

i use an old and dying wacom intuos 3 a4, or if im at work and sneaking a bit in, an older wacom bamboo a5 tablet for basically everything

Cool mate, thanks for the reply. I  have been getting into some digital stuff as well recently. I am basically using the same technique as you now. For a while, I was just using the sketchable app but it was taking forever to get crisp outlines and a bit of a headache to fix up. So now I just sketch out the bulk/flow of the piece, outline in Illustrator then throw back into sketchable to mess around with fill and background. Works a lot better and is way quicker. Am sure PS would be better than sketchable, will try and download it ASAP.
WIll upload some digital stuff later.

iive never tried sketchable...but tbh anything that uses a brush tool will do i guess, but i have been told PS brush just works nicer....itss all opinions on preferences really.

i used PS and AI all through college so i just stuck with them.

and yeh il keep an eye out, the clean lines in AI do make alot of difference but i do miss the kind of trance you can get into when cutting back lines with the brush for ages, i find it a bit therapeutic and feels like actual painting a bit more ha

hehe, I know exactly what you mean, start cutting lines then suddenly its 4 hours later. Find the same thing with painting walls, super relaxing and almost meditative, if I'm doing a legal wall and don't have to watch my back.
Just downloaded PS so will be getting some practice this week.

Keep up the good work.
